Another Great Book

I just love the depth and color of Ali Valie's books. This one is certainly no exception. A good departure from the other books but with enough small things to make you feel at home too. One of my favorite part is when Brooks decks her Hammerhead brother Curtis. Keep writing we are all richer for it.

Ok I have to confess even though I love Robin's books the description on this one didn't seem interesting and I passed on the audio book for a good while. Then it went on sale and I picked it up. I loved the book and laughed my *** off at the antics. Lesson learned. If Robin wrote it just buy it, PERIOD.

This is a wonderful book. It's multifaceted, quirky, cute, infuriating, intense and just totally lovable. I wasn't prepared for the multiple voices aspect but it was a really nice addition. Ms. Bruce deals with real life emotions and situations with a big splash of humor. You will totally fall in love with all the characters and the story. Hope the story continues.

This is with out a doubt the best audio book I have ever heard. The combination of the story, and the narrator come together in a perfect storm. At points you feel as though you are a part of one of the characters and you are just floating above it all, watching.
