Revisado: 05-15-12
I'm so happy that I got 3 Bosch mysteries for the price of one credit! The stories were great (especially The Narrows), the narration was great, and the price was great! I hope they have more box sets in the future.

Historia
Now, for the first time in audio, Blackstone presents seven great plays in one volume: Euripides' Medea, Shakespeare's The Tempest, Moliere's The Imaginary Invalid, Dumas' Camille, Ibsen's An Enemy of the People, Shaw's Arms and the Man, and Chekhov's Uncle Vanya. These productions illustrate the development of European drama from ancient times to the threshold of the modern theater.

Well Done Plays
Revisado: 05-15-12
I thought these plays were well done and entertaining. The production quality seemed fine to me. I especially enjoyed Medea, the Tempest, and Camille. The other ones were hard for me to get into, but that's just personal taste. If you want to be entertained and enjoy several classic plays, then this is a good deal for the price.

Historia
Sherlock Holmes is dead--or so most of the world thinks. His fatal plunge over the Reichenbach Falls as he struggled with his archenemy, Moriarty, has been widely reported. But Holmes has escaped and is alive. In his immediate circle, only Holmes's brother, the lethargic genius Mycroft, knows of his survival. Even Dr. Watson thinks that the great detective is dead. Among his enemies, Sebastian Moran, Moriarty's chief henchman, knows of Holmes's probable escape and waits for their inevitable meeting.

Fun Adventures
Revisado: 04-24-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. I thought these stories were fun and entertaining. I never solved any of the puzzles before the answers were revealed, so I was pretty entertained. I'm not sure that this would appeal to diehard fans who prefer a more orthodox style. The audiobook The House of Silk did a better job of following the more Sir Arthur Conan Doyle style. However, I think the author did a good job with these stories, and I would recommend people who like mysteries to read and enjoy it.

Historia
Awe and exhilaration—along with heartbreak and mordant wit—abound in Lolita, which tells the story of the aging Humbert Humbert's obsession for the nymphet Dolores Haze. Lolita is also the story of a hypercivilized European colliding with the cheerful barbarism of postwar America.

Haunting story well preformed
Revisado: 04-24-12
What did you love best about Lolita?
Nabokov's writing style. It's amazing how he can write about a subject so creepy and socially unacceptable and turn it into a moving piece of art. His description, metaphors, and style are amazing.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Lolita?
Humbert Humbert metaphor of himself as a spider as he checks to see where Lolita is in the house.
Which character – as performed by Jeremy Irons – was your favorite?
Humbert Humbert. Jeremy Irons did an amazing job!

Historia
Conventional science has long held the position that 'the mind' is merely an illusion, a side effect of electrochemical activity in the physical brain. Now in paperback, Dr Jeffrey Schwartz and Sharon Begley's groundbreaking work, The Mind and the Brain, argues exactly the opposite: that the mind has a life of its own. Dr Schwartz, a leading researcher in brain dysfunctions, and Wall Street Journal science columnist Sharon Begley demonstrate that the human mind is an independent entity that can shape and control the functioning of the physical brain.

This book has it all
Revisado: 03-27-12
I love this book because it's so mentally stimulating and so well written. The book covers a broad range of topics in it's quest to describe neuroplasticity. This book gives an in-depth account of how scientists discovered neuroplasticity, the current theories about how neuroplasticity can be used in treatment, the concept of neuroplasticity and its connection to quantum physics and Buddhist meditation practices, and more. I find this book really intriguing, exciting, and interesting, and I would highly recommend this book to anyone curious about neuroplasticity and the biology of changing bad habits.

Historia
Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....

Fantastic Story
Revisado: 03-27-12
This series has become one of my favorite. The characters are great, the mythology is accurate, there is the right amount of comic relief and tension, and the story is so imaginative. This book is addictive. As soon as I finished this audiobook I immediately downloaded the next book in the series. I would highly recommend this book.

Really fun story
Revisado: 03-27-12
This is a really great series, and I would highly recommend this book. The only thing that bothered me was the narration. The reader sounds like he was sucking on a lozenge while narrating this book because he often makes mouth noises, lip smacking sounds, and sighs a lot. This was really annoying and distracting, and I had a hard time paying attention to the story. If you can get past that though, this is a really fun audiobook.
