Boring
Revisado: 04-14-25
I have liked all of the previous books in this series but this one just would not and could not hold my interest. Bit disappointing for me.

Historia
A hard-nosed real estate baron is dead, and detectives P.T. Marsh and Remy Morgan learn there's a long list of suspects. Mason Falls, Georgia, may be a small town, but Ennis Fultz had filled it with professional rivals, angry neighbors, and a wronged ex-wife. And when Marsh realizes that this potential murder might be the least of his troubles, he begins to see what happens when ordinary people become capable of evil. As Marsh and Morgan dig into the case, it becomes clear that Fultz's death was not an isolated case of revenge.

Historia
Humpback whales are among the most intelligent animals on Earth. Some scientists believe they might even surpass humans in self-awareness, empathy, and communication skills. In this episode, we swim with a whale as he teams up with other humpbacks to use bubbles to catch fish, rescues a sea lion, and puts his own spin on melodies sung by whales across the Pacific Ocean. This is the world in its natural state, defined by seasons, routines, and cycles. By the time this whale is ready to close one eye and go to sleep, you will be too.

I truly truly love everything about this collection of Sleep episodes. Each on a different subject, mostly of animals whose life story is told in such a way that you are not far off from sleep once it starts. BUT….. for me, now, all other Narrators in my Audible Collections will be held to a higher standard. She gets the job done with her voice both in tone and deliverance. (Although, Titus Weliver needs no lessons for to get ya to sleep. Not to dis on Bosch but, ya’ll know.
And, she will leave you ready for sleep just to hear how it turns out, lol. I have No problem listening to these enjoyable stories with such paramount narration. Thank you,

FBI Agent Gardner Camden is an analytical genius with an affinity for puzzles. He also has a blind spot on the human side of investigations, a blindness that sometimes even includes people in his own life, like his beloved seven-year-old daughter Camila. Gardner and his squad of brilliant yet quirky agents make up the Patterns and Recognition (PAR) unit, the FBI’s hidden edge, brought in for cases that no one else can solve. When DNA links a murder victim to a serial killer long presumed dead, the team springs into action.

Tells it like it REALLY is
Revisado: 02-05-25
JD truly impresses me. I only became a true crime junkie in the last few years and just recently stumbled across John Douglas and his work in the FBI. I wish I started my “whatever to call it” reading on true crime with JDs thoughts on profiling. He makes good sense. I remain shocked with the lengths of cruelty people can have over another human being. Enforcements need to ban together so at the very least the criminal can be brought to justice.

Honest feelings
Revisado: 01-24-25
As sad the material for this story is it reminds us that there IS evil/cruelty in this world we live in and this evil can rear its head in lives when you least expect it. Stay vigilant. Protect the children and school them in the evil that is out there. Nic presented this story well and I plan now to follow his podcast. I am not sure why I follow true crime since it sickens me with each and every story. My grace is my faith that this evil will one day be eliminated and those responsible will be given the just do.

Revisado: 11-16-24
This story is one of the best ever written, thank you Steven King. That said…. Frank Mueller will captivate you so that even if its a not so good write, you will finish the listen. I follow FM because of his ability to keep you wanting more in each and every story he narrates. No doubt my #1 narrator to listen to. Please dont stop your calling. Fyi: listen to J Grishams “the Testament” w/FM narration. You will not be sorry.

At the end of the Second World War, Cyril Conroy combines luck and a single canny investment to begin an enormous real estate empire, propelling his family from poverty to enormous wealth. His first order of business is to buy the Dutch House, a lavish estate in the suburbs outside of Philadelphia. Meant as a surprise for his wife, the house sets in motion the undoing of everyone he loves. The story is told by Cyril’s son Danny, as he and his older sister, the brilliantly acerbic and self-assured Maeve, are exiled from the house where they grew up by their stepmother.
