Story & Performance, loved it!

Author and voice talent are on point. Laugh out loud funny as you would expect from Piper. Not to release any spoilers, you will love and respect the characters and the way they figure out how to handle the situation they find themselves in.

Author checks off a major box for me...gets TEXAS stuff right. If you're TEXAN, you just can't continue to read/listen when it's off, lol!

Granted, the hot stuff is sure enough hot enough to create lapses in memory in the event another TEXAN finds something I missed! ;-)

Oh, yeah, that would be another major box checked. :-)

Other boxes? Oh, sure. characters grew, low drama, got to include everyone else from previous books, and, to quote my friends parrot, "funny as he!!".

Oh, can I say, its Brody turn? Yep.

FYI, I hoard my 5 star reviews. So this is more of a 4+... rather than a "alright, I'll go 4 stars, whatever".

What would I want to know before investing a credit in this book? it has sex that makes you at least makes you smile and/or looking for your partner. The heroine has a backbone and though worries, has a believable plan. The men are also believable but just over the top in a very very good way. Not a load of drama to wear you down. But tons of that sweet affection that we wish all boys were raised to know was the gas that keeps a woman's engine running.
Narrator - she did alright on the guys' voices. Better than most. I'm glad they didn't try to over do it. The writer had already done a good job letting you know who was talking.

Bad was never so sweet...

One of the few scenarios where bad things are nice. Both narrators had pleasing voices and let the sexy bits be naturally so.

You're thinking Ok, a "wonderous variety" of sex, end of story. Ummm, not end of story, not the real story. (Oh, there is sex, more than enough to rev up any and every motor.)

There is a deeper story here that I do not find very often. But finding it is sort of your own personal story, so I'll move on.

The narrator is everything I could ask for. I can both fall into sweet sleep to that voice and also have an outer body experience...in the same hour. I have not heard a person that can pull of 3 different people and so well. I found the audio books before the ebooks so I could be biased, but I strongly recommend the audio. His voice captures things you'd miss on just the written page.

You'll enjoy this book either way, but do yourself this favor...get the first 4 books.
