A Court of Thorns and Roses

A fascinating story; well written and narrated superbly.
Enough twists to keep you intrigued and wondering who the good guys really are.
Though most would characterize this as a fairy tale, it is also a morality play with an ending that leaves you thinking about its ramifications long after its finish.
Highly recommended!

Drop Dead

As a rule I’m not into romantic comedy but “Drop Dead “ is a wonderful exception, with a truly original and fresh story line. Its narrators’ performance was thoroughly enjoyable, making the characters personalities shine.
A story well worth listening to over and over again. I look forward to Ms. Chu’s next literary endeavor.

The Villa

I’m a long time fan of Nora Roberts.’ and just had the opportunity to listen to “The Villa’ As usual I became fully engrossed in the story. This novel is very fast paced, with enough twists and turns to
keep everyone’s interest, This novel is one of Ms, Roberts’ best. The characters are complex, and the narrator expertly handled the uniqueness of each protagonist.
Recommend this for all listeners from 13 and up.
Thank you Ms. Roberts for once again creating a fascinating story.

Orson Scott Card is a creative genius. “Enchantment” may be his best novel to date. The narration was given by too highly talented individuals who truly brought the book to life.

Kudos to the Lackey/Dixon partnership for their masterful story telling!
The richness of their prose matures both outstanding authors to reach new heights of storytelling.
Paul Woodson’s masterful narration is mezzanine. As he switches from character to character, he creates each as a multidimensional being. Mr. Woodson has a vocal range that allows each character
- male or female- their own unique voice. (I could listen to Mr. Woodson reading soup labels 🥰)
And it’s Valdemar, which makes the story magical.

Another very gratifying read from Ms. Roberts.
As always, very well and intriguingly written. Characters are multidimensional, their voices wonderfully preformed by January LaVoy.
100%+ rating.

The Liar

This is one of the best of Audible Origins’ offerings!
Intense and chilling, the story is a unique view of the Amish when faced with an unspeakable violence all too common in our 21st century America. How this violence is faced and overcome by the wit of one 8 year old child describes a unique courage that can only come from a loving heart.
I recommend this amazing audio book to all listeners from preteen and up.

As always Ms Lackey captures the imagination and the heart of the reader. Though the beginning seems like the story may be a tragedy, it ends in a victory that brings tears to the eyes.!
I would recommend this book for all readers from preteen up. 😇
