Instead of gratitude for her raising their child alone, he twists every act of village kindness into evidence of infidelity, even doubting his son’s paternity despite celebrating the pregnancy himself.

The wife’s passivity is equally frustrating. Rather than confront his cruelty, she endlessly pines for him, reducing her character to a vessel for undeserved loyalty. The narrative frames emotional abuse as “angst,” romanticizing a dynamic where accountability is nonexistent. I couldn’t finish because it felt less like a story and more like an endorsement of harmful tropes.

Firstly the narrators are on point!!!! From the moment I started listening, I was completely captivated by the enchanting world Moon has created. The story follows the unlikely romance between a human and an orc, and it is both heartwarming and thrilling.

I was completely absorbed in the book from start to finish, Seriously . In conclusion this book is a captivating and enchanting listen that will appeal to fans of fantasy and romance alike. I loved every minute of this! As usual Robert has a way of owning each character. It’s Really good to see the Lore coming together and all finding mates from different factions. This one was a little different than the usual but still no less awesome. Can’t wait for the next installment.

Where do i begin? The book is filled with a whole lot of nothing but spanking! there’s absolutely no storyline. The narrator doing the female voice is terrible, It just made me cringe and the female character is just ridiculous. The whole book was a no for me. I could barely get through it.

I am a sucker for alien romances, and so of course I tried so hard to like this book. Unfortunately, I just could not get into it. The narration was OK, but the plot was nonexistent. I could not figure out what the book was about. The whole thing seemed rushed, and overall I will not be continuing the series.
