What the heck just happened??
Revisado: 08-12-19
Not impressed by this book at all. 1st, where is Pride? Probably the best character in this book. 2nd why won’t Frisha just go away? 3rd why is everyone throwing their kingdoms at Rez? The end is abhorrent Tieren and Frisha fall madly in love in an instant??? What? Oh, sorry Rez, forgot about you old boy. And lastly, what was the crap at the end? Perplexed.

Historia
Opposites attack! When the Magelord Minalan the Spellmonger’s two apprentices, Tyndal and Rondal, were knighted after the battle of Timberwatch, they were dubbed Knights Magi: A new class of nobility for distinguished High Magi. Designed to combine the pursuit of arcane knowledge with the noble aspirations of chivalry, it elevated them above common warmage...in theory. The problem was they had no idea how to be a Knight Mage...because no one had ever been one before.

Love
Revisado: 03-21-19
I have loved all of these books. Terry is a wonderful author. The negatives about this book, the naysaying about his lack of respect towards women is unfounded. I think he is quite gracious according to how women were treated in the 18th, 17th or 16th centuries. Mere toys, or things for men to enjoy or abuse. Tindle actually studies the enjoyment and respect of a woman. Rondal is a true gentleman and Cai and Min are husbands and fathers.

Meh
Revisado: 09-10-18
I listened to the entire trilogy and all I can say is that I was under impressed. There were times I got carried away with my Facebook page waiting for something to happen. Erik was unimpressive. My favorite was the
Old man ( can’t even remember his name A-something). Basically this was a so-so fantasy that try’s hard to tread in the footsteps of the masters.

Jake had mush head. Whoever heard of a guy his size, an academic, who could fight that well? Because he was a bouncer in college, don't think so. Love Scott Brick though!

Ridiculous
Revisado: 03-16-15
What did you love best about Beat the Reaper?
I liked the main character and Skin Flick, would have been nice to have a little more back story.
Would you be willing to try another book from Josh Bazell? Why or why not?
Maybe.
What does Robert Petkoff bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Well he is the book, without him I would have really mad.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No.
Any additional comments?
This book was entertaining but the end ruined it! Stupid, its like the author just wanted to stop writing. Bazell even says at the end not to take any of his medical know-how to heart. I see people saying that they learned a lot about medicine, the mafia and Auschwitz. Don't be fooled, it is all an utter crock. Don't waste a credit and do not believe everything you hear.

Historia
Michael Palmer’s latest novel pits a flawed doctor against a ruthless psychopath, who has made murder his art form. In addition, he is constantly on the lookout for his war buddy, Umberto Vasquez, who was plucked from the streets by the military four years ago for a secret mission and has not been seen since.

Cell 2?
Revisado: 06-14-06
I agree with other reviewers that King just left this book open for a sequel. Not that the ending was bad but there is so much more that could happen. I thought this was classic King and I really liked it. The characters were very engaging and I can't wait for Cell 2.

This is an excellent book, very Koontzesc. Similar to his Chris Snow novels, which I absolutely loved. His character's are always so loveable and low keyed.
