I like the idea of a superheroe community slowly losing its way because of outside influence. Any prominent figures in said community are either absent or dead. I've see variations on this idea before inside and outside the harem genre. This was a pretty good start to the series. I'm looking forward to more.

I find the card element of the magic system to be interesting. The characters are fun to read about in their interactions and personalities. Looking forward to the next.

The characters were mildly interesting. I was hoping for more backstory to better flesh them out. The overall story is going in an interesting direction. Hopefully the next book better builds on everything.
