What made the experience of listening to The Life We Bury the most enjoyable?
Excellent listen. This book is very well written and well-paced with an unpredictable plot and unexpected characters. Intricate and well thought out characters and settings. Great narration by Zach Villa. Just enough intrigue and mystery to make it hard to stop listening. I highly recommend this book.
What did you like best about this story?
The multiple endings. Just when I thought the story was over, there was more. Loved the satisfying final conclusion with the rewards money to give relief.
Which character – as performed by Zach Villa – was your favorite?
All of them. Zach Villa did an excellent job to consistently portraying the voices of each character.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, it was mesmerizing.

No, it's one where you listen for a little bit and have to sit down and write down some steps to apply these truths. I wish there's a study guide or application guide of some sort.
Any additional comments?
The topics covered here are very good and to the point. I have struggled in these areas and tried to ignore them as a leader because they were just getting in the way. This book has helped me tremendously especially the part about emotions and relationships. Thank you for writing this stuff down. I'm taking steps to makes in these areas and are learning to use these five things as gauges on my leadership dashboard.

This books sounds like it was written by a pastor with his head in the cloud and very idealistic expectations. I stopped at chapter 13 and can't bear to finish this book. I wish I could get a refund.

The simplicity of an organic church is profound. A very practical book. I don't agree with every detail but for the most part, it's definitely a FRESH way to be a church. The author did't address the question of "evangelism" and group size, as in, what if the group grows to too large? A great read for every Christian.
