Skinwalker Fantasy done right

The first time I read the book I was delighted with this character and her uncompromising honesty. Many French words I so could not pronounce. It did not detract at all from this story. Then the audible book arrived. I will not tell you how many times I have listened to it without being bored, many more than single digits.The story continues the same high caliber whether or not it is a short story or one of the other succeeding books. I can not longer read the books without the wonderful drawl of the narrator. I can even pronounce Fresh words with a New Orleans drawl. I read quickly but not this books I am hearing the characters speak in my mind. Best book I have bought so far. The first is my favorite but you would do well do enjoy them all especially the "shorts".

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
What a wonderful gift this narrator has for pulling you into the story and making you care about hearing it. I enjoyed reading it but this is a bonus to enjoyment. I listened to the whole book in one day. I could not stop listening.
Which character – as performed by Khristine Hvam – was your favorite?
Angelina the child is one of the most charming parts of the book. Beasts reaction to the children is performed wonderfully by this narrator.
