Historia
The dream chooses the dreamer, not the other way around - and Lazlo Strange, war orphan and junior librarian, has always feared that his dream chose poorly. Since he was five years old, he's been obsessed with the mythic lost city of Weep, but it would take someone bolder than he to cross half the world in search of it. Then a stunning opportunity presents itself in the person of a hero called the Godslayer and a band of legendary warriors, and he has to seize his chance or lose his dream forever.

Revisado: 04-08-17
Laini Taylor has created an incredible world and has outstanding character development. I'm not a love story guy at all but, I couldn't help but be totally involved in that part of the novel. Each storyline is deeply moving.

Historia
Earth builds her first war fleet! The greatest warships ever constructed in known space rise up one by one, soon dominating our skies. They strike fear into the hearts of every citizen and rebel colonist alike. Captain William Sparhawk, the very man who convinced the secretive Council to build this terrifying fleet, now has doubts about the project. What is their exact mission? How could anyone have built these huge ships so quickly? And, most puzzling of all, what's happening out at the isolated laboratory complex on Phobos, Mars' lopsided moon?

Disappointingly predictable
Revisado: 01-09-17
This book is by far the worst of the three. However you must listen to it to finish what you started. The voices of the different characters where hard to listen to. He has basically 3 voices and varies the pitch of them depending on gender. I couldn't tell who was speaking until they were identified. I came to hate Captin

Historia
Dr. Stranges authored several books on scientific and religious subjects, including his classic The Stranger at the Pentagon, which tells the unusual story of a spaceman named Valiant Thor. Because Thor was a real person, who appeared in public on a few occasions (including at the United Nations headquarters in New York City), the legend of the stranger at the Pentagon has grown, becoming a real head-scratcher for 21st-century UFO researchers.

Hard to believe
Revisado: 07-24-16
They're saying that the planet Venus has an atmosphere like earth's. This is totally preposterous. We know it has an incompatible atmosphere for life forms like us. It would crush you if you stood on the surface. So that's what made me feel the story is total fiction. Interesting but, it's not a true story. So that being said, the story itself isn't very good.

Historia
We fought the invading New Men to a standstill and defeated the alien destroyer sent to obliterate Earth. The worst should be over, but it's not. Perfect android replicas are impersonating high-level officials so trust is failing. Worse, the New Men have found allies with an impenetrable stealth technology. This time, however, Earth is going on the offensive. Admiral Fletcher is headed to C Quadrant with a Grand Fleet. He's to liberate the captured planets and find the enemy homeworld.

Classic story
Revisado: 06-06-16
This installment is my favorite so far. The crew isn't constantly in a state of escape. Every plan doesn't fail. It's also creative in its world building. The far flung destinations are actually visited. The scope of the plot is much broader in this book. My favorite aspect is the old fashioned radio serial feel to the narration. Maddox especially is portrayed in that Classic Private Detective affectation. The next book is well set up in the ending. Can't wait. Please keep the same narrator. It wouldn't be nearly as enjoyable.

Historia
How much must one pay for an hour of youthful folly? The Pureblood Registry accused Lucian de Remeni-Masson of "unseemly involvement with ordinaries", which meant only that he spoke with a young woman not of his own kind, allowed her to see his face unmasked, worked a bit of magic for her.... After that one mistake, Lucian’s grandsire excised half his magic and savage Harrowers massacred his family.
