Historia
When Lyn Slater started her fashion blog, Accidental Icon, at age sixty-one, she discovered that followers were flocking to her account for more than just her A-list style. As Lyn flaunted gray hair, wrinkles, and a megadose of self-acceptance, they found in her an alternative model of older life: someone who defied the stereotypes, refused to become invisible, and showed that all women have the opportunity to be relevant and take major risks at any stage of their life. Youth is not the only time we can be experimental. How to Be Old tells the ten-year story of Lyn’s sixties.

I’m not into fashion. I had hoped this was more about growing old but I couldn’t relate.

Historia
“This isn't strictly speaking an instructional manual, but a work of comedic philosophy.” Elvis Costello - songwriter, singer, author, and Fender Jazzmaster known to his admirers as “The Little Hands of Concrete” - spins his tale with wit, grit, and spit to spare. How to Play the Guitar and Y, Costello’s new entry into Audible’s Words + Music series, combines recitation, impersonation, and musical illustration to show you how to turn a three-chord trick into a four-chord caper and let your curiosity take you where it will.

Great listen

Enjoyed how Elvis wore stories into how to play. Very entertaining even for those with no desire to play the guitar.

The whispering was creepy. If I went to a tailor and he whispered, I would run!

I could not finish this. His voice began to grate on my nerves. The story seemed to be nothing but whining. I heard no real plot, very little character development and basically a waste of my time.

I'm only halfway through this and have no desire to finish it. No real plot, no thrills, just one stupid act after another. Sorry to those that loved this, but it was definitely not for me.

Not my favorite
Revisado: 10-27-17
If you think this will be about Jack Morgan, guess again. Jack is only a minor character. However I did enjoy the twist at the end. I never dreamed who Chronos actually was. Also, I was not thrilled with the narrator. While some complained of his accent, I was more bothered by the drastic changes in volume. One minute I could barely hear him, the next my speaker was blasting.
