Not very complex plot much too easy to figure out. Perhaps I should try a more recent offering from the author--something a bit more "developed" and well-rounded.

Not what I expected

My Mom turned me on to Audible and I downloaded a couple of books to listen to during a cross country drive. This was not a story that kept my attention. it was boring and Pendergast's quips predictable and annoying after awhile. I usually listen to police and legal thrillers and I typically enjoy them! I just found this to be slower than my normal and preferred plotting and pace.
