a worthy prequel to your favorite Cozy Fantasy

We travel back into Viv's adventuring days in this surprising prequel to the beloved Legends & Lattes. Injured and out of action until her wounds heal, Viv is left behind in the small seaside town with little to do but hope her adventuring party will come back.
In need of distraction, she finds herself in the company of a ratkin bookseller, the local baker, and another zealous young adventurer. But the dangers Viv was eager to return to soon come back to corner her.
Fans of the first volume will love this glimpse into Viv's past and relslish in the love letter to literature.
For more wholesome Fantasy, I recommend also trying MEADOWSWEET by C. J. Milbrandt, also read by Travis Baldree.
