I laughed, I cried, and I feel like I know myself a little better. It is not perfect as I do not believe anything can truly be perfect, but I think in terms of the grand tale that Sanderson’s set out to tell he did so in a way that any true fan of his works will be pleased with. The only thing I can even remotely view in a negative light is the reliance on consuming 20 years worth of books to truly grasp the connections he has built and understand the ramifications these words will have on his future works. The messages and theme do not require that outside knowledge, but without it I fear some people will lose part of what makes this book truly amazing. Either way please do yourself the pleasure of reading this series and feeling the incredible wave of emotion that will accompany it. It truly touched me in a way that I have not been touched by a piece of media in a long time if ever. Thank you Brandon and thank you to the amazing community that has rallied around the stories you tell.

Great book. Loved the series. Wanted to experience it again, but for the love of god why does Saphira sound like Cookie Monster? It rips me out of the story so fast that I can’t even pay attention because all I can think of is how bad the voice of this dragon is. The shame of it being that the rest of the narration is done very well.
