Shocked n Disappointed by the ending

I didn't care for the narrator. I don't want to ruin this for anyone, so I'm not going to say much. I am so glad I don't know any females like Julz. I think she's stupid. I really thought things were going to end differently. I think the wrong people got the happy ending. I kept listening because I was waiting for that 1 person to get what they deserved but it never happened. I just can't believe how stupid Julz was. She let that boy dictate how she should live. I just can't. I thought the books were good and it kept me interesred and I just wanted the "antagonist " to get it.

Loved this Book

I enjoyed this book a lot. It hurts my heart to know that there are children in this world actually suffering like the children in this book. Tayshawn (Animal) is an actual product of his environment. I plan to listen to the other books in this series. I would like to see a complete change in Animal but I know its not going to happen. He's too far gone and he has lost too much.

This book to me is a good read/listen....Great Job K'wan.

Great Series

I really enjoyed listening to the books in this series. I thought I was listening to DMX and Mos Def narrating and I thought it was funny. I have 2 more books left in the series and I hope they are good too. I recommend this series it makes you want to know what will happen next and what will the characters do. My least favorite character is Tre. I knew a man like that and any man that thinks the world revolves around him and he can do whatever he wants to a woman makes me sick. I wish Tasha was a stronger woman. No amount of sex and don't care how good it is, will make a woman forget how bad a man treat you. I hope Tasha is stronger in Honor Thy Thug and leave Tre ass or somebody lay him down for good. I really don't like Tre.

2 Good stories and 1 bad

The stories "Keepin It in the Family" and "Pound Cake" was really good and had me all in my feelings. My heart went out to the ladies in these stories. I actually cried for Mini.
"So Seductive" I couldn't get into and I probably won't finish it. While listening I was still thinking of the story "Pound Cake" I just listened to. "So Seductive shouldn't have been included with the other 2 stories.

Great Book

This book was really good. I loved the Boston accent. The voice for the men was horrible they all sound slow. My heart went out to Desire. The poor girl had so much hate in her heart. I was able to relate to her in the beginning when she got pregnant. I had a child at 14 but I didn't run away I kept my baby. She grew up to be a beautiful, strong, responsible, independent woman. She's now 32 and I'm 46. I had to grow up fast and I was more responsible than other kids my age. I had a lot of help from my mom. Desire had no, if I didn't have my mom's help I don't know what would've happened to me. Desire had no one to love her or support her. Anyways I could go on but I'm not. I'm going search for more books by this author. I thought this book was great and it pulled on my heart strings.

The narrators made it difficult for me to finish but I did. All the characters is this book was disloyal as hell. I'm not sure if I'm going to listen to book 2 or not, it depends whose narrating.
