The author presents a few fair and balanced point although I believe the overall message can still be seen as biased. While not overbearingly in support of Mckinsey, the book has an ever so slight pro-Mckinsey tint. Definitely a must read for any consultant or those interested.

The book has and will continue to change my life. for anybody striving for success in any field, I recommend this book. I recommend this even more for those who are striving for success in the business world whether that is ugrad, mba, entrepreneurship, finance (IB, PE, VC), consulting (MBB), or any other top firm.

While at times, I believe that Dr.Duckworth could have made due with less anecdotes, the point comes across clear and strong; Success is obtained well before the competition in the tedious daily toils of the mind.
