As the day dawns on the fiftieth annual Hunger Games, fear grips the districts of Panem. This year, in honor of the Quarter Quell, twice as many tributes will be taken from their homes. use this narrator nevermore.
Revisado: 03-24-25
Excellent edition to The Hunger Games series, terrible narrator! Such a mediocre lifeless performance, it felt like he was reading to a toddler. So indifferent and devoid of passion or any attempt at charm. Once more, Sunrise on the Reaping is a wonderful tearjerker of a book that upholds the message of protest and resistance in The Hunger Games but the narrator was just the absolute worst!

Meet Anna Von Ogre, a delightful monstrosity. When Anna’s attempt to gross out the family backfires, she finds herself stuck with a face of such beauty that even the neighbors are repulsed. How the sickeningly adorable, rosy-cheeked little girl finds her inner ugly again is the subject of a hilarious fable for the ages.

short... but I still liked it
Revisado: 03-29-24
this is an incredibly short work and I wouldn't spend a credit on it but it is priced rather cheap. I think this is worth the money value of what I spent. it got a chuckle out of me when I was feeling sad and that was less than I spent on my morning coffee. to me it's worth it, to others it might not be.

Historia
The Ankh-Morpork Post Office is running like...well, not at all like a government office. The mail is delivered promptly. Postmaster General Moist von Lipwig, former arch-swindler and confidence man, has exceeded all expectations - including his own. So it's somewhat disconcerting when Lord Vetinari summons Moist to the palace and asks, "Tell me, Mr. Lipwig, would you like to make some real money?"

Fantastic book, obnoxious music
Revisado: 11-01-20
This is a fantastic recording but the music was distracting at times.

Haunting to say the least
Revisado: 07-17-20
Donald Trump is just a scared little boy who has had everything handed to him without having to work for it himself.

Historia
The world will end on Saturday. Next Saturday. Just before dinner, according to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch, the world's only completely accurate book of prophecies, written in 1655. The armies of Good and Evil are amassing and everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan. Except that a somewhat fussy angel and a fast-living demon are not actually looking forward to the coming Rapture. And someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist.

Historia
Most children go through a dinosaur phase. Learning all the tongue-twisting names, picking favourites based on ferocity, armour, or sheer size. For many kids this love of ‘terrible lizards’ fizzles out at some point between starting and leaving primary school. All those fancy names slowly forgotten, no longer any need for a favourite. For all those child dino fanatics who didn’t grow up to become paleontologists, dinosaurs seem like something out of mythology. They are dragons, pictures in books, abstract, other, extinct.

Birds are dinosaurs!
Revisado: 07-23-19
I have always loved dinosaurs and I love any audiobook that gives me an image of a feathered dinosaur witch I would argue is more intimidating than without the plumage of ginger feathers! The narrators voice and tone was nice to listen to as well. With some audiobooks I’ve listened to I feel like it’s just being read off a telepromter but I didn’t get that since at all he was very energetic and visibly interested in what he was talking about.
