This book is worth it for the narrator’s performance alone!
Revisado: 04-19-23
This book is good, but it’s one of the rare instances where I think the performance of the narrator actually elevates the whole thing. She took a good book and made and it great!

Definitely worth the listen!
Revisado: 01-21-23
This is a solid listen with lots of things going for it. The story line is interesting, the characters are likable even with their flaws, and there wasn’t any point in the book where it felt like it dragged. I also liked the narrators voice quite a bit!

This one surprised me!
Revisado: 01-10-23
I hadn’t heard of this book until it came up on Audible, but I decided to go for it. I was expecting a “meh” read, but was surprised by how attached I got to the characters! If you’re looking for action or a thrill, this isn’t your book. But if enjoy character development, a thoughtful storyline, honest love, and beautiful imagery, this is a great choice.

Best book of 2022!
Revisado: 08-16-22
This book. THIS BOOK. I don’t even know if I have the words yet to properly do this book justice.
Fantastic story line? ✅
Diversity? ✅
Incredible male lead who is broody and sexy without being problematic? ✅✅✅
Awesome supporting characters? ✅
Perfect mix of heartfelt struggle and happily ever after? ✅
I hope Julia Whelan keeps writing. And reading. And reading her own writing. Thank you for this book, JW.
