Historia
Renegade sea captain Ryan Coleraine is persuaded to accompany the adventurous Raveneau family to Regency London to spy for America during the War of 1812. The sardonic Coleraine must take the place of their son, who is in the West Indies, and pretend to be a fop. Lindsay Raveneau, a beautiful and independent bluestocking, finds herself with a "brother" who challenges and arouses her in the most unsettling ways...

Surrender the Stars
Revisado: 01-12-16
What did you love best about Surrender the Stars?
The way you could identify with the characters, it's like an extended family for you. Their faults and goodness bring nothing but laughter or maybe just make you hold your breath!
What other book might you compare Surrender the Stars to and why?
Any of the other Raveneau books it's a continuation of the family from start to end, well the end that we have so far anyway. :)
Which scene was your favorite?
Oh, this is really hard... there were so many good ones... I loved the way he hauled her off the boat, the many arguments in London.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The way Devon and Andre both welcomed him with open arms and hearts.
Any additional comments?
I simply loved this book along with all the others. I couldn't put it down... I did find out one thing... until I heard this audible... I was pronouncing some of these names wrong... :(
You will Not be sorry if you get this book, guaranteed enjoyment.

Historia
Nathan Raveneau, son of Andre & Devon (Silver Storm), is known as "The Scapegrace" in Regency London for his rakish exploits and devastating good looks. He is also a sea captain with an estate on Barbados. To gain land near his enemy, Xavier Crowe, Raveneau agrees to act as protector to headstrong Adrienne Beauvisage - and keep her chaste until her 21st birthday.
Adrienne is both outraged and intrigued by the man who calls himself Nathan Essex.

Not possible to pick just 3 words.

I can't pick just one... I fell in love with this family with Caroline.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I love all of Cheryl's books and this was no different. "To Take This Lord" is, as usual, a fantastic book to read, or in this case listen to. I had it playing when I was getting dressed, making dinner, dusting... To put it simply, I loved it! I could visualize every location, the people, it was like I was there watching a play. I give it 5 stars! Loved it but then I always like reading her books.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Adriene was trying to 'rescue' the older lady and Heloise, then Heloise's husband started calling for her, I was on pins and needles.
