Sanford is brilliant.

I don't know how many prey novels I've read now, but Sanford's ability to write as well as he can amazes me. Virgil and Lucas working together was amazing as I didn't see a way to make that happen, I had assumed that Letty and Lucas would have a joint case before Virgil. Subtle nods to other novels are always wonderful rewards for long time readers.

I have read about a book a week for the last 3 years and the last book that I didn't finish was something from the audibles original line. this book is not better than a lot of stories that I peruse on Literotica.

Andy Weir is a great novelist

So, to be clear, I'm massively jealous of Andy Weir's insane talent at blending science and fiction. unlike some Sci-fi writers who prefer all things theoretical and not based on any actual science, Weir is able to work in characters that are believable and intelligent without being freaks if intellectual power. Also, because he has actually succeeded in writing scientific books relying on actual science; I feel he is the best in his genre.
John Sanford's Saturn Run still has a place in my heart. Weir's books are just great, and I can't wait for more.

I read lee child's novels because beyond liking Jack Reacher as a character I have never seen an author swap between third and first person and omniscient narrator types effectively. I am impressed at his craft.

Michael Lewis has a way of completely reviewing the money in and out of a sport and making it heartfelt. Moneyball, the blind side and now this book. three different sports, one great author.

An amazing look behind the curtain

Ever wonder how the sausage gets made? game development style. Upton Sinclair has nothing on this book; because it's 2020, and this industry with billions going in and out has a bad marketplace. I like this author and want to read more by him.

so, I went into the book expecting history, something like from the earth to the moon but with the Russian milestones too. what I got was mixed , some history, some hope, some future thought and some past. not a bad read, but not my favorite either.
