Historia
On a chilly February night, during a screening of Psycho in midtown, someone sunk an ice pick into the back of Chanel Rylan's neck, then disappeared quietly into the crowds of drunks and tourists in Times Square. To Chanel's best friend, who had just slipped out of the theater for a moment to take a call, it felt as unreal as the ancient black-and-white movie up on the screen. But Chanel's blood ran red, and her death was anything but fictional.

Bodies, want to be novelist, and a flying gnome
Revisado: 11-04-21
interesting plot with a shy seamstress leading a secret life confusing fiction, fantasy and reality. Bodies begin to pile up as NYPSDs finest take the case. My favorite scene was the flying gnome in Cop Central's stairwell! Yes, there are days like that!

Historia
It began on New Year’s Eve. The sickness came on suddenly, and spread quickly. The fear spread even faster. Within weeks, everything people counted on began to fail them. The electrical grid sputtered; law and government collapsed - and more than half of the world’s population was decimated. Where there had been order, there was now chaos. And as the power of science and technology receded, magick rose up in its place.

Absolutely loved it!
Revisado: 11-21-19
I grew up on Nancy Drew, The Dana Girls, Judy Bolton and now have a new sleuth to share and follow! It's contemporary, realistic in the mixed feelings of a young teen, and highlights one of my favorite cities, New Orleans. I loved the insider references like the dressed po boys, beneits, French market and ferry to Algiers. The setting was descriptive, informative and care I say, educational. I'm sharing this with an entire next generation of my family. I applaud the author on a fresh, new detective to follow that reflects us. Great jobl! I look forward to further adventures!

TRUTH!
Revisado: 05-02-19
Removes the omnipotence of MDs in ongoing health care crisis that still exists 40+ years after the book was released. Reflective commentary on the humanity at the roots of medicine. As a 40+ years of nursing survivor, the honest reflections, self worth considerations, and modes of survival ring all too true. MD is not a abreviation for Major Deity! Humanity depends on care and compassion and how our healers heal themselves. This is a classic that is still very relevant! Especially with our profit driven system in the USA.
