I was amazed, encouraged and challenged! This book made me realize that we can still have the power of God work through us to do good. We just need to depend on God and not man or things. I want to read my Bible and pray more deeply and get to know Jesus even more. Thank you Yun and Thank you God for allowing this powerful story to be lived and revealed.

I never get tired of listening and re-listening to these books and John McDonough’s narration! I listen to the series all the way through every few years. It’s a vacation away from everyday problems and some of the best sermons I’ve heard.

What an incredible and inspiring story!

I am so deeply touched by this true story of one man’s incredible journey in such never before trodden territory. His faith, stamina, insight courage and love give me a new appreciation of life and how we all touch and affect other’s lives in either positive or negative ways. It makes me reflect on my own purpose in life and how God does truly have a plan and a purpose for EVERYONE!

Didn't want to finish it. Didn't want to leave Meadows Gate, Mitford, Father Tim, Cynthia, Dooley, Lace, Harley and many others. I hope Ms. Karon will write more books...... A Meadow Gate series and more Father Tim books. I love feeling like I'm visiting these people and their homes.

I loved it! If you liked the J.R. Tolkien series

It reminds me of other series like the J.R. Tolkien series about The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy and J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. It is a quest about discovering who and what one is destined to be and what strength it takes to be one's best. it is about good versus evil and the trials and triumphs involved. It is an adventure tale and coming of age story for a band of young orphaned owls.
