Historia
Part cookbook and part spiritual memoir, Bread & Wine illuminates how sharing food together mirrors the way we share our hearts with each other and with God. And it explores what it means to follow a God who reveals his presence in breaking bread and passing a cup.

A Metaphor We Live By
Revisado: 09-27-14
What made the experience of listening to Bread & Wine the most enjoyable?
Shauna tells stories the way Jesus tells parables. She pushes me to think deeply and every time I come back to listen to her, I think she is right next to me just talking about the day.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Bread & Wine?
Shauna ends books incredibly well. "This is what I want you to do: I want you to tell someone you love them, and dinner’s at six. I want you to throw open your front door and welcome the people you love into the inevitable mess with hugs and laughter." This is her charge to us and we must be ready to accept.
What does Shauna Niequist bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Shauna's encouraging truth-telling and vocal tone makes her an incredible storyteller.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
"Every table is a communion table."

Historia
Judah Smith digs deep to answer the most common and the most difficult questions about Jesus, a man so few understand and so many desperately need. In Jesus Is, Judah Smith explores a number of topics that reveal Jesus’ purpose for coming, what he accomplished while he was here, and what that means for those of us who came after. Jesus is greatly revered, harshly criticized, and sorely misunderstood.
