Fantastic

Ok I will admit I put this down for a long time after certain things happened lol! But god I lived these books so much. I'm genuinely sad to say goodbye to them and the characters. Beautifully read, wonderfully written, and just totally fun and enjoyable at every turn. it's definitely one I'll reread many many times.

One of my favorite books in a very long time
Revisado: 01-23-20
This book was a beautiful mixture of fantasy, fairytale, and realism. Even though a lot of the twists were things you saw coming, the tension that built as they bubbled to the surface was so real for me. The action scenes were written well, neither dragging on too long or being do short as to cheapen the emotion, and the descriptions took me deeper into the scene every time. But most importantly I loved the characters. They're a real family who loves each other, dealing with the harsh realities of the time and trying to juggle that.
I've also enjoyed the performance of these books immensely. They are narrated with a passion that doesn't get boring or repetitive. If you're not sure about branching out and giving these books a try, I can say for me they were well with it.
