Historia
Eco-terrorists unleash the worst attack the world has ever seen. Over 25,000 autonomous combat drones are released in Manhattan. Hundreds of thousands are dead, and the entire island is evacuated and quarantined in just a few days' time. Ten years later, Manhattan is still empty of humans, with the exception of the salvage specialists of the most watched reality show in history: Zone War. Produced live and unedited, the show follows five teams of armored vehicle specialists who brave the active drones to recover lost riches and collect bounties on dead ones.

Boring. All about one person’s fictional scavenger hunt in a sad, futuristic world. Not worth the time or money.

An unfolding drama with many plot twists
Revisado: 07-08-15
The story moves at a steady pace but seems to drag and then rush forward, depending upon events. It became a roller coaster ride of emotions and actions. I could never guess what was next! The setting was vivid and the reader brought it to life.

Again, another exciting story line that kept me deeply engaged. So many familiar places, including small towns in Switzerland. Very vivid. Simply thrilling.

They were the young ones, the bright ones, the ones with the dreams. From the Nazi-prowled wastes of North Africa to the bloody corridors of Europe, they honorably answered the call. War - it was their duty, their job, their life. They marched off as boys and they came back - those who made it - as soldiers and professionals forged in the heat of battle....

Pleasant and realistic. Ordinary lives mixed with extraordinary ones. Accurate historical markers and events bring the narrative to life. I was sorry that it ended.

Outstanding

A totally plausible and fascinating story concept. It kept my attention throughout. The weaving of three groups of characters operating simultaneously and independently help weave a tightly designed plot with a narrative that flows at a natural yet fast pace.
