Historia
A diagnosis of dementia in a loved one can be both frightening and frustrating. Only a biblical foundation fuels a Christian response that both honors the patient and glorifies God. Drawing on years of professional experience working with Alzheimer's patients, Dr. John Dunlop wants to transform the way we think about dementia.

the content was helpful

I did not enjoy it very much because the reader was not easy to listen to. I thought the delivery was a bit boring, though the content was good.

Dunbar-Ortiz adroitly challenges the founding myth of the United States and shows how policy against the Indigenous peoples was colonialist and designed to seize the territories of the original inhabitants, displacing or eliminating them. And as Dunbar-Ortiz reveals, this policy was praised in popular culture, through writers like James Fenimore Cooper and Walt Whitman, and in the highest offices of government and the military.

I was looking for an accurate account of Native American history. I'm sure a lot of the book is accurate,, however, the author's anti-American Marxist views poisoned the whole book. She went so far beyond Native American History to condemn everything the United States has ever done in any part of the world. It seems as though America has never done anything right. The poisonous attitude of the writer caused the truthfulness of any part of the book to lose creditability. And yet people from all over the world still want to come to this evil place. Go figure! What could be wrong with that picture?

I enjoyed the book. It was detailed and time consuming. There was a lot of good information about some of the crashes that are not as well known like the 1907, the 1987 and the 2010 crashes.

Now more than ever it’s easy to focus on the divisions that plague our nation. It may seem as if our best days are behind us, but bestselling author and senator Tim Scott believes we have yet to realize the fullness of our identity. We are in the midst of a story that’s still unfolding. And beautiful opportunities await. In this powerful memoir, Scott recounts formative events of his life alongside the inspiring stories of other Americans who have risen above hardship and embodied the values that make our nation great.

Historia
The ups and downs of the economy prove Rabbi Daniel Lapin's famous principle that the more things change, the more we need to depend upon the things that never change. There's no better source for both practical and spiritual financial wisdom than the time-tested knowledge found in the ancient Jewish faith and its culture. In the second edition of Thou Shall Prosper, Lapin offers a practical approach to creating wealth based on the established principles of ancient Jewish wisdom.

The Swamp has been around for more than 150 years, and six major presidents have tried to drain it with varying degrees of success. Donald Trump promised to “Drain the Swamp”, by which he originally meant lobbyists. When he got in, he found an entirely different Swamp - a Deep State that had grown, layer upon layer, within the government. But he wasn’t the first to encounter entrenched Swamp opposition.

The first part of the book was excellent. The part written on criminal law was very interesting. From that point forward the book was about tort, tort, tort. I was waiting for information on estates, but it never happened. If you are interested in the details of tort, this is your book. It you want a balanced view of the law, don't waste your time.

The Autobiography of Andrew Carnegie and The Gospel of Wealth

Historia
His good friend Mark Twain dubbed him "St. Andrew." British Prime Minister William Gladstone called him an "example" for the wealthy. Such terms seldom apply to multimillionaires. But Andrew Carnegie was no run-of-the-mill steel magnate. At age 13 and full of dreams, he sailed from his native Dunfermline, Scotland, to America. Here, in one volume, are two impressive works by Andrew Carnegie himself: his autobiography and The Gospel of Wealth, a groundbreaking manifesto on the duty of the wealthy to give back to society all of their fortunes.
