This is a good read but dragged down by the extensive explanation of the history behind it which does not connect very well. Unless you are a French history buff, you can easily get lost but the book does continually come back to the main story. Not sure the history is essential to the story-could be explained easier.

This is the first W.E.B book I have ever felt the need to review. I love his other books but this one is impossible to follow. There are so many people involved, americans, germans, and those from argentina, I bet the cast adds up to at least 75. the germans are given their offical army name which is not translated to english so you do not know who commands whom. They travel all over the world which is also very confusing. There are probably 15 to 20 people in each chapter. The only way to listen to this book is if you have a "photographic or audible memory" beyond belief. Please keep the next book shorter and a little more simple for the publics enjoyment.

This novel is not for the average joe. Even though it does have political interest, I could not understand the discussion when it came to aircraft, missiles, vehicles and general weaponry. This book may be enjouable to an ex Army or Air Force reader, but is way over the head of what I feel is the average reader. Unless you are familiar with some of the military terminology and strategy, it may not be enjoyable like it was not for me.

I thought the story was great-a new twist at every turn. What I did not like was the voice of the reader,Jonathan Marosz. He did not have enough inflection that this book demands-the voice was almost like a monotone. After a while it was not as exciting as the discription of the story.

This is the worst of any book Patterson has put his name on. I hope that LLyana Kadushin does not get the opportunity to read any more books because her voice is disturbing and not one I could listen to for 6 hours. I stopped the book after one hour. The story is spooky and not very believable. I do not recommended it to anyone!!!
