Historia
Reading his own newspaper’s obituaries, veteran reporter Carter Ross comes across that of a woman named Nancy Marino, who was the victim of a hit-and-run while she was on the job delivering copies of that very paper, the Eagle-Examiner. Struck by the opportunity to write a heroic piece about an everyday woman killed too young, he heads to her wake to gather tributes and anecdotes. It’s the last place Ross expects to find controversy - which is exactly what happens when one of Nancy’s sisters convinces him that the accident might not have been accidental at all.

ANOTHER HIT!!!
Revisado: 01-20-14
I recently discovered Brad Parks book good Cop at the library and have been hooked ever since! Carter Ross is so funny and a refreshing change from the norm. Macleod Andrews is the perfect narrator for the character. I've listen to all his book (this being the last) and think I'm going to have to buy the two that aren't on audio...LOVE LOVE!!

Historia
Now Cannie's back. After her debut novel - a fictionalized (and highly sexualized) version of her life - became an overnight bestseller, she dropped out of the public eye and turned to writing science fiction under a pseudonym. She's happily married and has settled into a life that's wonderfully predictable. As preparations for her daughter Joy's bat mitzvah begin, everything seems right in Cannie's world. Then Joy discovers the novel Cannie wrote years before and suddenly finds herself faced with what she thinks is the truth about her own conception - the story her mother hid.

i was disappointed!!!
Revisado: 01-12-14
Im not sure how I feel about this book. I loved the first book Good in Bed and I love all the other books written by Jennifer Weiner but this one seemed a little..hmmmm..not sure the twist at the end seemed unnecessary. I really didnt like it.. I was trying to love it but didnt. The tragedy almost seemed to try to make the book interesting. I think i loved the first book because it didnt seem so much like the "big girl" whining book. But this one was so....boring...everyone in the book seemed annoying and just kind of thrown in. I was very disappointed I just wish I wouldve read it because some times the sequel makes you hate the entire series.

Historia
It's her birthday but lonely workaholic Dana Watts is at the office late, drafting a proposal. The very last interruption she expects comes in the form of the most beautiful breasts she has ever seen. These belong to an incredibly hot woman, who is standing in front of her, stripping to music. Laurel Stanley performs strip-o-grams to pay her way through school. She has never encountered a more ungrateful recipient than Dana. The uptight project manager makes it clear that she is furious to be distracted from her work by the "gift".

Historia
In many ways, Reeve LeClaire looks like a typical twenty-two year old girl. She's finally landed her own apartment, she waitresses to pay the bills, and she wishes she wasn't so nervous around new people. She thinks of herself as agile, not skittish. As serious, not grim. But Reeve is anything but normal. Ten years ago, she was kidnapped and held captive. After a lucky escape, she's spent the last six years trying to rebuild her life, a recovery thanks in large part to her indispensable therapist Dr. Ezra Lerner.

hmmmmm..a big fat MAYBE!
Revisado: 12-11-13
I didn't like is the narrator she wasn't good at all. It was something about her changing to the male voice that was bad. The story line was typical-nothing really surprising. I don't think it was a great ideal to tell who the main kidnapper was so soon. I was hoping for some huge, great ending but no..it was kind of flat. I read the other comments-I didn't see what was so great or different about the story. I think a twist would have made this perfect.

Historia
From a master of suspense comes a chilling novel that explores the dangers lurking closer than you think. Because even in the perfect family, you never know what is going on behind closed doors…. This is what happened… It was a case guaranteed to spark a media feeding frenzy—a young mother, blond and pretty, disappears without a trace from her South Boston home, leaving behind her four-year-old daughter as the only witness and her handsome, secretive husband as the prime suspect. HUGE FAN OF GARDNER!!
Revisado: 11-17-13
I read most of Gardners books and what I love most the "element of surprise" she presents in her books. When reading her books I find myself trying to come up with the ending but with out doubt Im usually wrong..lol..which is a good thing. In The Neighbor you think you have the answer but by the end I sure you are wrong!

Historia
Justin and Libby Denbe have the kind of life you’d find in the pages of a glossy magazine: A beautiful 14-year-old daughter. A gorgeous brownstone on a tree-lined street in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. A great marriage, admired by all. A perfect life. When investigator Tessa Leone arrives at the crime scene in the foyer of the Denbes’ home, she finds scuff marks on the floor and a million tiny pieces of bright green Taser confetti. The family appears to have been abducted, with only a pile of their cell phones and electronic devices remaining. No witnesses, no ransom demands, no motive. Just a perfect little family, gone.

WOW! What a great read! I read a couple of comments that didn't give this book great reviews but i felt different. This book and you wondering till the end who was involved. I got this one wrong..lol..I couldn't figure who was the person involved and why. I love the twist and turns Gardner always delivers in her books and this one was not disappointing. An absolutely great read and I fully recommend!
