The narrator was different but still good. I am a master audiobook listener and I am able to adapt to different narrators. She was not bad at all. Story was great, although it is not a continuation of Siege.

I’ve listened to audiobooks for a very long time. I have developed the art of ignoring bad narrations. I rarely post reviews but I must post a review on Jessica Hecht, listening to a Stephen King book with the narrator reading the story like it’s story time in kindergarten, is very annoying. She is not performing the story, she’s reading to us with a smile in her voice and sunshine in her eyes... even when reading about murder and rape. I find myself constantly switching from trying to visualize the story in my mind to sitting in a circle with my classmates at story time in elementary school with the teacher flipping the pages of a picture storybook in my mind. It’s very disturbing. Her narration is worse than when I had to listen to Yeardly Smith (Lisa Simpson voice actress) narrate a Stephen King Short. And with Y. Smith’s narration I had a difficult time not seeing all the characters as characters from the Simpson’s.

Still on my Dead Journey and this one is really good and gives closure at the end! Great listen and TW Brown is a great narrator! I’m sad because I only have 1 Snapshot left and I will be finish all of the Dead. I will of course start over from the Ugly Beginning but still... I NEED MORE!

Only follows one character. I really like when TW Brown have multiple POVs. Still a really good listen. Ends in a sort of cliffhanger, I would like a know how this group is faring 10 years later... also want a book 3 of the New Dead Series.

Best Zombie Books Ever! I don’t want these Dead books to end. Theses books should be in the Epic Fantasy Genre for the Dead. I can’t wait to listen to the other Snapshots and than relisten to first Dead series.

Really great addition to the Dead Universe. If you like the other Dead books you will love this one! I love reading about the different experiences people have during the zombie apocalypse! While this book focuses on only 1 group, it’s still really good. When the real Zombie apocalypse happen, I’ll definitely refer TWB’s Dead books for survival 😊The cameos from some Steve and the Gang was awesome too! AWESOME NARRATION!!! TW Brown should narrate ALL of his books. The only downside is that this book is 2 years old and I fear there may not be any current ones.

Holter Graham does the absolute worse voice for Simi and females. That’s the only problem I have with this book. Simi sounds like a character from Sesame Street. She’s one of my fav characters and Holter murders her smh

This story is so much like Kresley Cole’s A Hunger Like No Other it’s scary. Which one came out first? The shy young timid immortal with over protective aggressive brave loved ones... there’s even a shower scene and as well as a scene where Gwen is injured and is given blood to heal. Good story but I’ve heard it before. And I Hate hearing Max Bellmore swallow!!

George Newbern did not bring any of his characters to life. Very disappointing. Hard to listen to him. And the back and forth mixed up way Patricia Briggs’ imaginary friends made her write the timeline is very annoying. I’ve started this book over 4 times and I still haven’t finished it. Lorelei King and Mercy Thompson was awesome as per usual!
