Historia
In the fall of 1941, a momentous trial was set to begin that threatened to end the careers and lives of New York’s most brutal mob kingpins. The lead witness, Abe Reles, had been a trusted executioner for Murder, Inc., the enforcement arm of a coast-to-coast mob network known as the Syndicate. But the man responsible for coolly silencing hundreds of informants was about to become the most talkative snitch of all. In exchange for police protection, Reles was prepared to rat out his murderous friends, from Albert Anastasia to Bugsy Siegel....

Narrator is awful!!
Revisado: 08-31-24
The information was quite interesting but the narrator sounded more like AI than a real person. Had I not used a credit for this audio book, I would not have listened past the introduction.

Historia
Once an affair comes to light, many unfaithful persons "wake up" and want to save their marriages. Yet they usually make terrible mistakes in their bungled attempts to win back their partners' trust. Linda J. MacDonald, an infidelity specialist for 23 years, has identified behaviors and attitudes that determine unfaithful persons' success or failure to mend their marriages after the wrecking ball of an affair. How to Help Your Spouse Heal from Your Affair offers practical advice for those who've strayed and want a second chance.

Horrible horrible horrible
Revisado: 08-16-19
Let me preface my review by saying that I purchased this book for my husband. We are trying to rebuild our marriage after his infidelity. I thought the information might give him some better insight into how I’ve been impacted.
The author STARTS by referring to the choices that betrayers have after they’ve had an affair as: “Mass murder”, “Murder”, “Negligent homicide”....and she keeps on going with that theme. My husband feels bad enough. This book breeds hopelessness. If you are the person who strayed from your marriage, this book will have you believing that your life is ruined and you may as well kill yourself because your spouse, your children, and all of your friends and family will hate you for life. I would NOT recommend this book to anyone who is actually trying to rebuild a relationship. This book will NOT motivate anyone to even try to recover. I wish I could return it!!
