What did you love best about Mrs. Fletcher?

Ultra realistic characters, contemporary themes that don't get clichéd.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Mrs. Fletcher?

Mother over hears someone - something

Which character – as performed by Finn Wittrock and Carrie Coon – was your favorite?

Can't chose - all performers are amazing - read as if they were living the scenes

If you could rename Mrs. Fletcher, what would you call it?

a book by Joe Renzetti

Any additional comments?

one of the best books since "The Confederacy Of Dunces"

What did you love best about Celestial Navigation for the Complete Idiot?

I've read the readers' comments below, but some of them are about years-old print and eBook versions. I've just listened to this newly-released audio version and it appears to have been updated, so that the previously complex theory of the subject is made extremely understandable - and just the chapter on avoiding seasickness was worth the price of the book.

Any additional comments?

Concerning the author's mention of the mysteries he's also written, he described just a few of them at the end, but there's probably a reason for that: most boaters interested in Celestial Navigation are cruising sailors with plenty of time to listen to books, and mysteries are a popular favorite.

And as for another comment suggesting Bowditch as a good source, yes... he was the accepted expert on the subject, but he wasn't expecting his works to fall into the hands of idiots like me... and even if he did, none of his books are available in an audio format, making this the only one on the subject you can listen to, and I recommend it as a starter if you're interested in the subject.

Would you listen to The Daily Show (the AudioBook) again? Why?

Once is enough.

Any additional comments?

Audio levels are uneven, poorly mixed. The constant introduction of every speaker is annoying. Each person speaking doesn't need to be introduced with full name every single time. In some conversations we the audience can figure out who's speaking.

Bad recording makes this audio book unintelligible

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

people who don't want to listen to an audio book, but would prefer to read a book in text form.

A poor recording makes this audio book unlistenable.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Napoleon?

how on many sentences the last word is completely missing, dropped, cut off... quite memorable.

A poor recording job makes this audio book incomprehensible.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of John Lee?

he does a good job although he adds to the problem by "swallowing" important last words of sentences; under-pronouncing them; and his reading is just a bit too fast.

Poor recording techniques makes this audio book unintelligible.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Napoleon?

the scene where someone OKs the recorded sound of this book.

Any additional comments?

I have perfect hearing. I have listed to hundreds of audio books. I am very sorry that I can not enjoy this excellently written book and that I will have to return it.

An example of what I am complaining about would be the following:

"Then Napoleon, after days of fighting advanced to pk..."

Give it a listen and pay attention to the audio.
