Probably the best of the series so far! The angst is so palpable, so well written! Poor Viggo, I really felt for him so much. He had a terrible past and of course his injuries worsened his depressed disposition. I really loved Signy, so sweet, but also very strong and capable of giving so much love. I love this series because the couples are very different from one another and each book is a new discovery. I really hope the mystery of the island will be satisfactorily solved soon!
Very capable narrator as always!

Very hot!

Wow, this one was very hot! I loved how the characters fought and then fell in love and found their own dynamics in the bedchamber. They are both characters with a painful past and I'm happy they found their HEA together. Wonderful installment of this intriguing saga! The narrator is great as always!

And even more gorgeous audiobook with a very talented narrator! Frida is so sweet and afraid of her "gift" (she sees glimpses of the future), but she's also very lucky, because she finds Gunnar, who is a big cinnamon roll of a Viking! They are perfect for each other and their chemistry is off the charts. The steamy scenes are very hot, but very emotional as well. I loved the writing immensely. And the "mystery" of the island becomes even more intriguing with each book and I can't wait to see how it will be solved!

Gorgeous narration!

So, first of all, the narrator. She’s gorgeous! Her male voices are very hot and perfect for the characters and she’s able to do different voices for different female and male characters. And she’s very good at narrating steamy scenes! Very absorbing and riveting narration indeed.
As for the novella, I really liked it: it’s beautifully written and I really loved the connection between the characters and their scenes together, both the steamy ones and the banter. But I didn’t like Beth very much, especially in the second half of the book. I think her anger toward Tom was unfair and unjustified. She came out as petulant and spoiled. Luckily Tom was level-headed and so in love that he wasn’t put off by her behavior!

Gorgeous story!

A very intriguing story with two fiery and arrogant characters. They were certainly well matched and I didn't particularly like their behavior at the beginning, but I was very happy when they fell in love. The lovemaking scenes are very steamy!
The narrator is very good even with female voices and the narration in general. Totally recommended!

Loved this book!

I really LOVED this book! It’s a historical romance with a STEM heroine (yes, she’s a chemist) and her bodyguard. It has humor, angst, a touch of mistery and a healthy dose of emotional lovemaking: the perfect “formula” of a perfect book!

Wonderful book!

This may be the book by Sadie Bosque that I loved most! There’s humor and there’s angst here, and the two are perfectly mixed together. The road trip is adventurous, funny and captivating and the love story is a perfectly portrayed slow burn (with an explosive outcome, quite foreseeable from the chemistry between the characters since the beginning!). I loved both characters, especially the sweet and caring scoundrel Gabriel, who’s definitely NOT in love with his Eve (ha ha ha)… Bosque is a great writer and I’ll never tire of repeating that her greatest strength is to be able to write very human, very flawed and very realistic characters. A five star read if ever there was one. (Listen to the audiobook! Both narrators are gorgeous and the already gorgeous reading experience is enhanced tenfold!)
