Ransom and Britt attempt to settle into a new life, but a dreadful threat is constantly hanging over their heads. The settlers in Tucson know their time is limited. An invasion is underway. Bray at his best
Revisado: 10-11-24
I like the series but in this part there’s too little action - to much blah blah and inter human focus

Historia
Killing the sadistic warlord known as the Dog Tongue took everything Gus Berry had, including the woman he loved. Now, all he wants is to get away from the bloody scene of their final showdown. But when he heads west in a stolen truck, a brutal snowstorm forces him to turn back—and seek refuge in the Dog Tongue’s former headquarters. Though it’s littered with human carnage, the abandoned luxury hotel has a lot to offer a guy like Gus. But in addition to soft beds and working toilets, he encounters still-lurking dangers both living and undead.

British English vs. My Whatever English
Revisado: 11-10-21
I am honest - great story great reader (really) but for a German half native American English speaker I gave up listening...
I would have to really concentrate on what I hear - that is not my idea of listening instead of reading...

One of its Best
Revisado: 01-10-21
A perfect Story,
a even more surprising Finish. Perfect narrator as always. If you are fan of uncommon heroes this is a must!
I would have loved to get the full story leading to this one as well.
Not so much "make my day" but showing heroes vulnerable and still sticking to the red line of principles.

Somewhat not as expected
Revisado: 11-10-20
It's about time the overall story ends. The latest book in the series is not as good as I had hoped... It opens the plot for a future story line but it is nothing you would really miss...
It's not a fifteen but a 14.5 if you ask me
