Religion kills logic thinking

Not very original plot idea is wrapped in religion, which justifies everything. That's what we need in time of crisis: a mob of religious zealots.

I thought this story would have peaked by now, but I was wrong. I'm amazed, how quite long story can be so fast paced, exciting, thrilling; the suspense was unbearable at times. Big congrats to Mrs. Rowling for showing us all, what a poison for the mind institutionalized religion really is.

Nathan's voice sold it, really wanted to like it

I love Firefly and the Rookie, was thrilled to see Nathan as narrator in Audible - I hope more will come!
And I also hope next time it will be something better to read. This story started well, then it got so dull I barely made it to the end - only thanks to Nathan's voice.

I love SF, with emphasis on "Science"; listened all x-force books twice over - just for fun. I was not so much into magic, always felt like a cheating: "I cannot come up with a good science, so, it's magic!" Story about Kaz really pulled me in, the guy does not give up, ever.
Can't wait to hear more. R.C. Bray really brings characters to life! I'm continuously amazed. Can't say I'm impressed with a cat voice though. Azib voice is just fantastic, I just see and hear the little guy in my head 😂

I love SF, while magic is.. much lower on my favorite list, That being said, I have thoroughly enjoyed this book! It's fun, educational, thrilling and very engaging. Alanson has proven to be a great writer not only one kind of literature, but many. Kudos! I can't wait to continue the story.
RC Bray is great, as always, I am pretty sure I have hear Nert voice is this book 😆

Interesting, a bit prolific story

Very detailed side stories calming together in one main plot, at times I wasn't sure which character is the bad, which is the good guy. It's like GoT complexity ;) Interesting, but difficult to follow.

I liked other Dalzelle's books, but this one left me with sense of disappointment. The plot is unimpressive and predictable to a painful level. Sad story, total page turner.

Packed with action and hilarious!

I couldn't wait to get "my ears" on 13th book and it's everything I was hoping for! I have noticed I'm comparing other sf books to this series: some are so dry and grim. The hilarious humor mixed with tense atmosphere of impending events is intoxicating, I can't get enough. I hope they make a tv series from this books, it will be epic like The Expanse :)

Not bad, not great either

I have bought the second book to get more stories about the dolphins, bummer. The plot is predictable, sad, depressing even - I really don't need a book to tell me there are people willing to jeopardize entire planet for personal gain; just turn on tv or read media news - it's depressing. I wanted to be inspired and entertained, the book failed across the board on that. It's like on purpose any bit of humor is drained out from the story, it's all drama and grim mood all the way. This world sucks, really bad.
