Historia
For years Brian Weiss, M.D. has focused on leading his patients into the past, yet some of them experienced spontaneous pre-cognitive moments. When developing regression into past lives, one man went forward into the future rather than backward. He entered into an idyllic future life - a passage which helped him emotionally. At that moment, Dr. Weiss recognized that past, present, and future are one. What happens in the future can affect the present, just as the past also influences it.

Compelling

As a physician, I’m struggling between wanting to believe and actually believing. Coupled with Newton, Cannon, and most scripture, there appears to be much validation, but no rigorous scientifically controlled proof. I guess it’s all about faith in the end. Any scientist would consider the possibility of mass hysteria over the millennia but there are so many anecdotes that make strong arguments.
Regardless, Weiss is a great writer and philosopher. I loved the book and i will re-read.

Historia
Custom Design Your Own Destiny focuses on both personal and professional empowerment by training the listener to master age progression techniques using self-hypnosis. Dr. Goldberg refers to this method as the "New You" technique, and it allows the user to lay out the various probable future options (five in all) and select the ideal path. The listener is then shown how to program themselves to enter and remain on this ideal path or frequency. This "New You" technique also shows the listener how to maximize each of their paths and to raise their level of consciousness along the way.

The best

I have read > 50 books on LOA and manifestation etc. I’m really not sure why this one isn’t rated more highly. Maybe because the author doesn’t like to self-promote as much. Well I’ll do it for him. It’s absolutely the best one I’ve read. I think it’s the last one. It’s the one I’d like to keep in a leather-bound version if possible. Just excellent.

This audiobook includes all three volumes in this series. The Bhagavad Gita is set on the battlefield of an apocalyptic war between good and evil. Faced with a dire moral dilemma, the warrior prince Arjuna turns in anguish to his spiritual guide, Sri Krishna, for answers to the fundamental questions of life.

I have finally found my desert island audiobook. I cannot find the words to express my gratitude for this interpretation of the Gita. Read it all the way through. Then listen daily, if only for 5-10 minutes. It will transform your perspective. The unity of life is clear to me. The field, the knower. Simply amazing.

Historia
On New Year’s Eve, journalist and former Parade editor in chief Janice Kaplan makes a promise to be grateful and look on the bright side of whatever happens. She realizes that how she feels over the next year will have less to do with the events that occur than her own attitude and perspective. Getting advice at every turn from psychologists, academics, doctors, and philosophers, Kaplan brings listeners on a smart and witty journey to discover the value of appreciating what you have.

Excellent work
Revisado: 09-08-17
I couldn't wait to drive to work every morning. This was not just a joyous listen on a subject we all know, it was articulate and had the right mix of anecdote and science, without the rambling. You could hear the enthusiasm in the author's voice. While listening, I purchased the hardcover and promised myself that I'd listen to this book again at least once a year.
6 stars.
