Historia
Lincoln Miller, an ex-Navy SEAL turned NCIS special agent, is sent to Aquarius, the world’s only sub-oceanic research facility, located off the Florida Keys, to investigate reports of ocean dumping. A week into his stay, strange red flakes descend from the surface. Scores of fish are dead and dying, poisoned by the debris that turns to powder in Miller’s fingers and tastes like blood. Miller heads for the surface, ready to fight whoever is polluting on his watch. But he finds nothing. No ships. No polluters.... No oxygen.

They had me in the first half
Revisado: 09-05-22
This seems to be theme with Robinson. He has a cool idea, builds the world and executes the plot and action, then flops hard on the finish. This story drags hard. It was a chore to finish this. Not recommended.

Great as usual
Revisado: 05-13-22
Larson is an incredibly consistent author when it comes to Undying Mercenaries. I love this series, I love the characters. Mark Boyett has been a phenomenal voice actor through all the books. I can't recommend this book and this series enough.

Historia
Across America a mysterious disease is turning ordinary people into raving, paranoid murderers who inflict brutal horrors on strangers, themselves, and even their own families. Working under the government’s shroud of secrecy, CIA operative Dew Phillips crisscrosses the country trying in vain to capture a live victim. With only decomposing corpses for clues, CDC epidemiologist Margaret Montoya races to analyze the science behind this deadly contagion. She discovers that these killers all have one thing in common.

Much better author than Narrator
Revisado: 09-28-21
This narration is so terrible. If I didn't know better I'd say he didn't write this book and he didn't know what was happening from one word to the next, that's how awful his narration is. It almost turned me off the entire series. The story is pretty good. It's a decent premise and the pace is great. The narration really ruins it a lot, between weird whisper accents and odd inflections, Sigler should stick to writing and leave the VA to pros.

The woman narrator needs to go
Revisado: 02-23-21
the story is great. the performances are all good except for the woman doing the minotaur and pandemonium voices. She's really bad, it'd be better if a text to speech engine read it. I cannot stress enough how terrible she is.

Historia
Welcome to the fabled Gold Coast, that stretch on the North Shore of Long Island that once held the greatest concentration of wealth and power in America. Here two men are destined for an explosive collision: John Sutter, Wall Street lawyer, holding fast to a fading aristocratic legacy; and Frank Bellarosa, the Mafia don who seizes his piece of the staid and unprepared Gold Coast like a latter-day barbarian chief and draws Sutter and his regally beautiful wife, Susan, into his violent world.

ok but not very believable
Revisado: 10-28-20
the story was alright. the atmosphere and details of high society seemed believable. but the whole plot around Frank, John, and Susan was pretty unbelievable. susan's character made no sense. Johns character made weird decisions. I dunno, I didn't find it that compelling.

Robinson falls flat again
Revisado: 10-04-19
Every time I get a book from this author, it starts out really good, then becomes kinda slow, then ends extremely weak. I think he should do comics or something with shorter episodes. His books are just really over rated.

Its really good until the the reveal.
Revisado: 09-07-19
RC Bray is phenomenal as usual. The beginning is really good. I like the idea and themes. But the reveal is really lame and the climax and ending is pretty boring. Kinda cliche, you'll roll your eyes a lot. Dunno if I'd recommend this one.

Historia
An artificial object made of compressed stardust is barreling toward Earth. Is it an invasion ship? A doomsday weapon? Perhaps it’s the final response of Squanto, the Warlord of Rigel who James McGill has repeatedly humiliated. Or could it be from the Mogwa, sent to avenge McGill’s assassination of Earth’s Imperial Governor? No one knows the truth of its origins, but the object is huge and unstoppable. Whoever hurled this rock at us isn’t answering our calls. Every weapon bounces off, and the people of Earth begin to go mad as they realize their destruction is only hours away.

Not the best in the series
Revisado: 08-30-19
The story and foe were imaginative for sure! The natation is a solid 10/10 as usual. But this story seemed really rushed. Also James was a little too Mary Sue in this one for my taste. Hopefully the next installment will be better.
