Historia
Sloan and Cherry. Cherry and Sloan. They met only a few days before masked men with machetes attacked the summer camp where they worked, a massacre that left the rest of their fellow counselors dead. Now, months later, the two are inseparable, their traumatic experience bonding them in ways no one else can understand. But as new evidence comes to light and Sloan learns more about the motives behind the ritual killing that brought them together, she begins to suspect that her girlfriend may be more than just a survivor—she may actually have been a part of it.

A bloody good time
Revisado: 08-21-23
Last Girls has great characters and a really interesting twist on the slasher genre. (kind of a reverse-slasher starting with the survivors). Mix in a little romance for a really unique take on an old horror trope. I want to read more horror from Jennifer Dugan. Loved it!

Disappointing performance
Revisado: 12-03-21
I have enjoyed David Oyelowo In film as an actor but I cannot stress enough how terrible a performance he gives narrating this James Bond installment. He sounds bored while he is reading the majority of the text and his portrayal of the main villain caused me to stop playing The app on several occasions and listen to something else. I ended up purchasing the physical book to get through the story because I just could not stand the narration, it was that bad. Stay away!

Summer 1977. The Blyton Summer Detective Club (of Blyton Hills, a small mining town in Oregon's Zoinx River Valley) solved their final mystery and unmasked the elusive Sleepy Lake monster - another low-life fortune hunter trying to get his dirty hands on the legendary riches hidden in Deboën Mansion. And he would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for those meddling kids.

Who wants a book read by Siri??
Revisado: 10-10-19
I honestly couldn’t get past 10 minutes. Kyla Garcia not only SOUNDS like Siri, she PERFORMS just as robotically as Siri reading to you. I really wanted to listen to this book! It sounds like a great concept. I see another version by another performer in 2019 but Audible says it’s not available for download in my region... damn. Guess I don’t get to read this one, cuz I’m damn sure not listening to a robot read

Can't wait for the whole trilogy on Audible
Revisado: 02-01-18
I've read the whole trilogy and believe me, this first book is just the tip of the iceberg! Daniel Storm's narration is a perfect match for Schneider's dark, raw prose. I highly recommend this book to lovers of adult fantasy - full of magic-action, tension and witty banter infused with a sexual charge.
