With the admittance to a hospital Kaitlyn refuses to give up the search for Renegade.
As the search for Renegade continues so does Kaitlyn’s confusion. Having suffered a concussion in vehicle accident, there are many things she doesn’t remember. Like being pregnant with Cole’s baby.
As Cole and Kaitlyn attempt to piece together her memories to try to find Renegade, Kaitlyn soon remembers her fairy recent past and becomes even more anxious to leave hospital.
The vehicle accident appears to have been a diversion. But for what?
As they attempt to put pieces together Kaitlyn refuses to stay in hospital. Against hospital policy and suggestions she discharges from hospital to join the efforts to retrieve her partner.

Couldn’t stand narrators voice

I have read some of the other reviews and I honestly can’t figure out how other listeners could stand this audio book
To be honest I HATED the narrators voices
Screetching sounds came from my iPad for 5 days.
That’s how long it took me to listen to this track.
It gave me a headache - I had to do it in little spurts.
All I could get from story is that Sally was trying to figure out a murder.
And her dead husband is the reason that she tries so hard to connect with others- because that’s what he would have wanted- her to have friends and a life.
That’s all I got.

Great change of pace

After listening to number 1 in the Flint River series, I was chomping at the bit for number 2.
This book is about Tonya - the girl who told the assailant in book 1 where Joselyn was.
It is easier to relate to Tonya in this book. You almost feel sorry for her.
But her villainous ways are still hard to overlook- if you’ve read/listened to the first book.
When Tonya picks up a hitchhiker, she knows nothing of his true past and his objective.
Trent’s interest in Tonya reappears - which I find amusing and sad- when the new hitchhiker becomes more prevalent in her life.
The start of book has us following “Robert” through a bank robbbery he and his buddies pulled off. Well the buddies didn’t get away. But Robert did with most of he money.
Listen/read what happens next.
Will Tonya get scammed, injured or even killed by associating with “Robert”?
Or will Trent convince her to drop the loser with no car/home to shoe for?
Only one way to find out!

Run for the Hills is not what I expected from author.
I am thoroughly impressed. Burnett has made the transition to psychological crime thrillers without a hitch!
Joslyn is a woman who can’t seem to catch a break. Being a trained therapist she is used to dealing with unbalanced individuals.
But nothing has prepared her for Leonard Perkins and his deranged mind.
The character development that Burnett has created runs deep and adds to her storytelling abilities..
Listen to the clear and compelling narrator as he digs deep into the town of Flint River and unlocks a captivating thriller.

This book has it all!
Author included marital problems, nasty divorce proceedings, backstabbing, extra marital affairs, stalking, explosions, nasty ex’s, troublesome families members, twins and even some courtroom drama.
Rachel is on the fence with her marriage to Seth.
His verbally abusive, downright mean, borderline alcoholic and very secretive behavior has pushed Rachel too far.
Upon returning from a trip to stay with her parents for reflection, she finds her world shattered.
Rachel’s home is in foreclosure, her husband serves her divorce papers, her mother-in-law threatens her, and trashes her tires while Rachel is still in car.
And to top it if, she has been seeing a blue mustang car following her for a couple weeks.
What more could go wrong?
Will her budding attraction for Cole ruin her attempt at a no-fault divorce?
Or will Seth’s crazy family get to her before she even makes it to courtroom?
Or will Seth blow up her home with Rachel stil in it?

Didn’t do anything for me

I contemplated about what to write here. I decided honesty was the best option.
Here goes—-
Out the gate this book was great!
A pandemic/medical thriller- what’s not to love? Well…not a whole lot.
First off- the voices that were the “doctor”, the scientist”, and ALL the other characters had the SAME VOICE.
With exception, The scientist- she was a girl. I think.
Either way- story called for different people involved. And someone with inflection .
The main character didn’t have ANY.
Like I said….I spent a lot of time on this review and don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.
But it is what it is.

This book has if all!
Family issues, drugs, the chase, death, murder, rescue, strong female heroine, a canine easy to fall in love with, and a boy - caught in the middle.
And LOTS OF ACTION!
Love the narrator.

What. A. Story. I listened to audiobook

This novel is a hilarious story involving a family-owned bar and bakery, a talking and swearing parrot, and tons of wit.
Oh and an order of hierarchy in a town. You know, the usual
Phenomenal job on audio by narrator and an AWESOME job on story by Landish

The hits just keep on coming!
Kaitlyn has another life-threatening case that takes her into the drug world of Montana.
It begins with Colt being called to Montana to talk to some kids about the drugs they were caught with at school. And then without his knowledge the involved criminals were thrust in Caitlyn’s path.
While the two battled against the same crime synagogue- unbeknownst to the other, Caitlyn has to deal with the death of her partner and friend Sam.
Colt gets a lead in case and the two share knowledge.
Then the real fun begins.
