Would you listen to Black Genesis again? Why?

I have already listened twice and probably will listen for a third time before continuing with the third volume in the series. I think at this point I am pretty much hooked.

If you’ve listened to books by L. Ron Hubbard before, how does this one compare?

Just as in the first volume in the series it is a seemingly irreverent science-fiction adventure series that really says much more than it's humor would suggest.

What about uncredited’s performance did you like?

I really enjoy the multi-cast productions and sound effects. My only issue is that the quality is somewhat wanting. The only reason I won't make an issue of it is that I am concerned that Audible.com will pull the titles down.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No particular moment moved me anymore than any other. I just sat back and listened to the zaniness that unfolded as Jettero Heller moved forward with his secret mission and interacted with various Earth personalities who were some real characters.

Any additional comments?

It's a fun listen but start with the first volume of Mission Earth. Black Genesis: Mission Earth, Volume 2 is not a stand alone novel.

What did you like best about More Money, More Life? What did you like least?

What I found impressive was much useful content there was that I could immediately apply toward building an Internet business. My only issue with Stephen Pierce was his narration was fast and I had to pay closer attention to what he said.

What was one of the most memorable moments of More Money, More Life?

"More Money, More Life" has much motivational material as well as hands on advice on building an Internet business.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

As I stated before Stephen Pierce's narration was pretty fast paced. Other than that he spoke clearly and well. His problem may be that his intelligence is so keen that he forgets that his audience has to catch up while he rattles off his ideas and strategies for building a business.

Did More Money, More Life inspire you to do anything?

Yes, I think of the Internet business audiobooks that I have listened to so far this one is one of my favorites, second only to MJ DeMarco's book "The Millionaire Fastlane".

Any additional comments?

The PDF manual that goes with the audio book is pretty large and follows the audio program. "More Money, More Life" was a good investment,

Outstanding Guide to Thinking Like A Millionaire

Would you consider the audio edition of The Millionaire Fastlane: Crack the Code to Wealth and Live Rich for a Lifetime to be better than the print version?

I have not read the print version yet (although I do have the kindle version) . The audiobook was the best I've listened to for this type of subject matter.

Who was your favorite character and why?

MJ DeMarco is pretty straight forward. Comes off a little arrogant and condescending but not so that he is obnoxious. I think he has created this persona that is more show business than his actual personality. Sort of like Donald Trump but for the Internet marketer instead of real estate investor.

What about MJ DeMarco’s performance did you like?

He reads his own material well and has this amusing created voice characterization that he uses for reading the obviously faked testimonies of the straw person entrepreneurs to illustrate his various points.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, because it is over twelve hours of content. One could probably finish it in two or three marathon listening's but I don't think much could be absorbed that way. This audiobook deserves a few complete listens to grasp what he is trying to impart.

Any additional comments?

I've read a few of the reviews stating that this audiobook is not worth the time because there wasn't much useful information. I disagree with that assessment. The author pointed out that this book is not a Internet marketing how-to but rather a guide to changing one's wealth paradigm. This audiobook delivers on that.

Would you try another book from Mark Anastasi and/or Erik Synnestvedt?

I would purchase anything the author Mark Anastasi wrote in the area of Internet marketing. The narrator Erik Synnestvedt is another matter altogether. His narration style is absolutely not suited to this material and if it weren't for the content I would have returned this audiobook immediately.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Laptop Millionaire?

The stories of successful Internet marketers who started with little and through determined effort made their online businesses succeed and succeed big was very encouraging.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Erik Synnestvedt?

No alternative narrator comes to mind but it would have to be someone without the speaking quirks of Erik Synnestvedt. Not saying he is a bad narrator , just that his style was not suitable for this audiobook.

Do you think The Laptop Millionaire needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

I will be giving The Laptop Millionaire at least one more listening. Although it will be frustrating because of the narration style but there is useful material to be had here.

Any additional comments?

Audible.com needs to be more discerning about pairing readers and the material.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The sound quality was somewhat off. At first I thought it was my headphone but the other audiobooks I "own" on Audible seem fine. I happen to really like and prefer audiobook readings with sound effects and I like multi-cast recordings even more. As long as all the author's words are used and not discarded. So my main issue was that this audiobook was an abridgement.

What could L. Ron Hubbard have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I read The Invader's Plan years ago and so knew what to expect which was an over bloated first volume of a ten volume novel. That was part of the fun.

What does uncredited bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The audio effects and multi-cast is what I wanted to experience. As I said before, my real issue was that it was abridged. To be fair I don't like abridged audiobooks. I somehow feel shortchanged but I took a chance on this because I knew it would have sound effects and be a multi-cast production.

What character would you cut from The Invaders Plan?

I would cut no character from the novel. The author's work should be respected no matter how over bloated the novel is.

Any additional comments?

It was a decent adaptation of Mission Earth, Volume 1: The Invader's Plan and a good audio drama. I think I will go forward with the other volumes in the series.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this audio to a friend who had watched The Secret. I see by some of the other reviews that many thought there was too much of a infomercial aspect to the presentations. It is true that every speaker was selling a product but there was enough information available here to make it worth a listening. Actually a few listens.
