A lot of good things that make this a good listen. Though MC is a bit annoying saying stupid shit and acting like an idiot way too often also inserting foot into mouth and throwing self pity parties too often. Act like a damn man not a little punk. If I have to hear him say sorry one more time, or he doesn't deserve this or that.... I may vomit lol. Don't get me started on his "I need to this myself speech and attitude that he always said. Acts like a pitiful whiner and refuses help. Lastly mc comes off as a bit obtuse.....his head priestess all but telegraphic near the end she is off to do something dangerous and likely permanent like sacrifice herself, she says "a I Love you" goodbye meaning like probably forever.His other girl is like I wonder where she is going and he is like duh duh duh she will find something to entertain her....he can't be that stupid right?

Great series highly recommend slight issues

what a great story and performance.l though.....Ard can be obtuse and annoying at times and I believe a bit hypocritical...I think both the story and him as a MC fixate to much on Mirabelle. That being said book and series is fantastic. I don't know how many books are planned but I hope a few more and Mr. Sentar is in no hurry to finish....even after the situation with king Martin is resolved there are paths to follow afterwards...situation with God's stuck in their world and battle lines being drawn, reunification of the 3 nations and dealing with Avanti King as well. Let's not forget the Zanovian rulers also seem to need to be "replaced".

Who is MC in story?

Great story, great series. Only issue I have is this Sindra's pack/harem or Gabe's. Author let's Sindra have her way too much for not being a pack leader or even the prime. I mean I honestly could give a crap about the lust in Sindra's bond as he is getting intimate with Brenya. Author seems to put Sindra upfront and in control in most if not all sexual encounters...it seems if MC was true pack leader Sindra would defer to Gabe for permission...example being scene where Brenya and Sindra were alone and she wants to "test" her bird sister(ie have sex) ...doing so with Brenya( who hasn't been with Gabe yet and also without "her packmasters" permission seems to run against the whole Gabe in charge which should be the them.....that being said can't wait for next book

Voice changes and MC issues

can't say I liked the voice changes. Also can the MC finally start acting like the head of a harem/raid/guild and be a man. Also des character still annoyingly thinks she is in charge...makes me slightly dislike her character. Also considering how Fayeth has been in undying love with MC since they met...I can't see how she would suddenly want to leave him and return to elven world. That shouldn't be a reason to expand the harem in a book, it can expand without other members leaving.

my only concern is Dez (dezmona) is a bit annoying.Her main goal in this book seems to be "nailing" the elven princess like I said who is in charge? Who is the mc? This is not her harem its the mc's. Author makes dez to controlling and harem willing and the mc too unwilling to expand harem. i mean wtf. MC is suppose to be incharge but Dez seems to act like she is in charge...her character arc sometimes makes me want to stop reading. Also Dez claims to be so "in love" with mc but seems to want to "bang" all the members of his harem more than him...doesn't make that much sense.

mc is cursed and one of his women takes on the brunt of it...and your telling me he wouldn't be consumed by finding out everything about curses..like I don't know how they are given( by touch etc) he wouldn't start replaying all the weird things that happened in past few days like i dont know touching a book the gave you a charge that a "bloodwrath" had...hint hint that should be priority number 1....otherwise another great book in the series

For basically 2 books now mc (Jake) knows arch lord mathis is an evil dick....but during a crucial point at the end Jake is gonna listen to mathis' advice and tgink he is helping...that would never happen....otherwise great story and great characters cant wait for next

so question to author do you keep track of what things you say in previous books. in first book Scotie the giantess stated she is not interested in woman but only in the 1st few chapters Scotie is making flirtatious overtures to all the mc's current female companions like a damn predator?????

Great story for most part, I think mc could be better, example he gets "tricked" into an arena fight against a blood elf who they lied an is more powerful than him but also made it a death match. MC wins but feels bad about killing someone that wanted to kill him and do harm to his two female companions..come on he shouldn't give killing him a second thought...instead he laments on it like a idiot......kill or be killed my dude its simple really
