Historia
For centuries, works of art have been stolen in countless ways from all over the world, but no one has been quite as successful at it as the master thief Stéphane Breitwieser. Carrying out more than two hundred heists over nearly eight years—in museums and cathedrals all over Europe—Breitwieser, along with his girlfriend who worked as his lookout, stole more than three hundred objects, until it all fell apart in spectacular fashion.

Definitely give this one a listen. Very captivating all the way through no dull points. Lots of info and a good setup if you've never heard this story. Intrigue, mystery and court room drama. Little bit of everything. Performance was great as well. Love the readers voice.

Historia
In 1845, Sir John Franklin and his men set out to "penetrate the icy fastness of the north, and to circumnavigate America." And then they disappeared. The truth about what happened to Franklin's ill-fated Arctic expedition was shrouded in mystery for more than a century. Then, in 1984, Owen Beattie and his team exhumed two crew members from a burial site in the North for forensic evidence, to shocking results. But the most startling discovery didn't come until 2014, when a team commissioned by the Canadian government uncovered one of the lost ships: Erebus.

You'll forget about the narrator by the first chapter
Revisado: 09-19-23
I just finished reading the terror and was looking for more info on this expedition. And this was the perfect book to fill that void. With facts and the truth behind it all. Also gave me insight into why Dan Simmons may have done his story the way he did.
Nonetheless if your a fan of the Franklin expedition. You will want to give this a listen. I thoroughly enjoyed it. And don't worry about the narrator if you love this topic you won't notice him after the first few minutes. Also last thing this book covers back story to the Franklin expedition, before, during and after the expedition and some other expeditions during that same time period. Which I did not know about. So it made it all the more intriguing. Read this one !!!
