These two books went by soo fast they seemed like short stores. I know there’s two more, yet, I’m a little sad and apprehensive to start because they are going to fly by soo fast like the first four and then there aren’t any more. I bought the first book a few years ago and I finally gave it a chance. Now look. I’m not going to know what to do with myself cause I hate waiting for the next to come out. That’s why I stopped reading the Sookie series.
This is a refreshing series. I veer towards biographies, educational and mostly zombie movies and stories of hauntings etc. This is a fictional story of an apocalypse without zombies or some haunted sci-fi twist. I would always think “boring”. But, No! It’s actually my new binge. This author couldn’t have had a better narrator. The last series I listened to over the past five or more years had this narrator. He’s just fantastic. There’s no adjusting or getting used to his voice etc.. I could enjoy the story immediately. I’m soo picky I won’t listen if the narrators voice is annoying, no matter how badly I want the story. The narrator is crucial. I’d listen to a series with him on a subject I don’t find interesting he reads soo well. Good narrators with a good story is hard to find. These two together make all others look and sound bad, spoiling it for me because I judge them against this. Although Mr. creepy pasta on the ga station series is in the same “A”level. LOL There have been some audiobooks I purchased where the author narrated their own biography and I couldn’t believe how terrible they presented their own life story. Some I couldn’t stand it so I returned them instead. Btw William Shatners biographies are marvelous. So is this series! If you like good narrators and fiction based on survival and guns etc. here’s a gem for you.

Perfect adult stories. Goes to show the actors talent by how well and fluid they can deliver the characters lines. Bravo!

Excellent find. I didn’t expect I’d like this story and I binge listened to it. Im going to look for the next one. There has to be another. It can’t end like this. I just hope it’s not a recently new series so I can have another or two ready for me. Ha!

I love this series. I hope it’s not the last because what became of his friend who was shot in the back?
I became aware of this series by listening to the hospital. I don’t hesitate buying the next book. It has a better storyline than others I’ve listened to. Try the hospital to sample the story. You won’t regret it.

I loved these books. I listened to them twice. Both times I practically binge listened. I’m not aware of another book yet. I hope it’s soon. If your a zombie apocalypse nerd you’ll love this.

I especially love the narrator. He also narrated the Mountain Man series.

I already bought book three and am sad to think it will end too.
I listen to this Creepy Pasta narrator on Castbox. There, it’s usually a small piece of a chapter from one of these stories. At first I thought this was the full version this Narrator covered late last year. He portrays characters soo well. One of the best. So much so, I can recognize who is speaking and easily follow along. What’s more, he can demonstrate the emotion of each character. It makes the story ten times over more worth it. Other narrators have butchered great stories. I especially hate when they can’t read well or their voice is unbearable. Then, when speaking in character, it is soo much worse. I wonder if they actually listen to themselves. I can not. The cringe is soo hard, I’m embarrassed FOR them. Thank God this story was given to the right person! Excellent.
Well, I gotta go. My third book awaits…Haahah!!! 🤭😎✊🏼
