Historia
The man most hated by the LAPD - a black lawyer who has made his name by bringing lawsuits alleging racism and brutality by police officers - has been found murdered on the eve of a high-profile trial. The list of suspects includes half the police force. And Harry Bosch is the detective chosen to head the investigation. The political dangers of the case are huge. If it's not investigated fairly, the public outcry could make the Rodney King riots look tame. But a full investigation will take Bosch into the ugliest corners of law enforcement.

Great story - poor narration
Revisado: 03-17-14
If you could sum up Angels Flight in three words, what would they be?
It a very good story - with usual Harry Bosch suspense drama and suspense in the plot - but the narration is about the worst I have had to endure in any audio book - despite this it is a good story and I enjoyed it.
Any additional comments?
If I could have got the unabridged version or a version with a differnt narrator - that would have been better.

Historia
Why should distinguished Edwardian Cabinet minister Edwin Straford resign at the height of his career? Why does the woman he loves so suddenly reject him? Why, 70 years later, should people go to such lengths to prevent the truth coming out?

Historia
Jack McEvoy is at the end of the line as a crime reporter. Forced to take a buy-out from the LA Times as the newspaper grapples with dwindling readership and revenues, he's got 30 days left on the job. His last assignment? Training his replacement, a low-cost reporter just out of J-school who couldn't find the police station if it was right next store to the Times, which it is.

What did you like about this audiobook?
Another fantastic Michael Connelly novel - fast moving and gets your interest from the start . As the story unfolds the way the characters are described makes them real. Very good plot too.

Historia
In 1982 Debra Sue Carter, a 21-year-old cocktail waitress in Ada, Oklahoma, was raped and murdered. For five years the police could not solve the crime. For reasons that were never clear, they suspected Ron Williamson, a major league drop-out, and his friend, Dennis Fritz. The two were finally arrested in 1987 and charged with capital murder. With no physical evidence, the prosecution's defence was built on hearsay and unreliable testimonies.

Stong storyline and gripping, but sad
Revisado: 10-04-08
I am an avid Grisham fan and thoughly enjoyed "The Innocent Man". It is a sad story and the reader keeps hoping that somehow justice will prevail. I was drawn into the life of the characters and couldnt put "the Innocent Man" down. Wonderfully well researched, and despite being a true story, is almost too incedible. The narration and pace of the story is masterful. I recommend it.
