Enjoyable But Doesn't Stand Out
Revisado: 03-26-12
This is a great paranormal romance. It's a lot of fun. I enjoyed listening to it, but it didn't 'stand out' to me. It's a good story, but I wouldn't rank it as one of the best. Definitely worth a buy, but there are even better gay romance novels on audible.

Historia
Scott Cunningham's classic introduction to Wicca is about how to live life magically, spiritually, and wholly attuned with nature. It is a book of sense and common sense, not only about magick but also about religion and one of the most critical issues of today: how to achieve the much-needed and wholesome relationship with our Earth. Cunningham presents Wicca as it is today: a gentle, Earth-oriented religion dedicated to the Goddess and God. Wicca also includes Cunningham's own Book of Shadows.

Buy The Book
Revisado: 03-26-12
This is a great little listen if you're busy and want to study Wicca while multitasking. However, my honest opinion? Go and buy the book. Scott Cunningham is wonderful. He's one of my favorite Wiccan writers. He has a lot to teach and having a book in hand to look things up in and study with is the way to go.

This was wonderful to listen to while doing my housework. Deepack Chopra is a wonderful speaker. She's so much fun! She had a TRUE passion for the Goddesses. I absolutely loved this.

I Couldn't Understand the Reader
Revisado: 03-26-12
I didn't finish listening to this novel because I couldn't understand the reader. His accent was very... difficult for me to process.
I have no idea if the story itself was good, because I couldn't understand it.

A Wonderful Story
Revisado: 03-26-12
I loved this Audiobook. The romance was beautifully written and the topic of gay parenting was handled expertly.
The reader was wonderful as well. I would only comment that a woman is reading the story when most of the characters being voiced are male. It didn't really bother me, but it's something to consider.

Absolutely Wow
Revisado: 03-26-12
Memoirs of a Geisha is one of my favorite novels of all time. I read the book when I was 17 and adored it.
The reader was incredible. Returning to this old favorite and listening to it while doing my housework was an absolute joy.
I thoroughly encourage you to download this title. Even if you've already read the book, you definitely won't regret it.

One of My Favorites
Revisado: 03-26-12
I listen to a lot of Gay and Lesbian audibooks. As a pansexual and a woman with close friends who are LGBTQ, it's a genre that personally interests me.
A lot of the books available on Audible disappoint me. This one, however, was /wonderful/. It really was.
The main character was this incredible very real teenage boy. I felt for him and was inspired by him both. People react to his sexuality in ways that are realistic to society. The story presents a very real issue without overdoing it and creating pointless drama.
I also love that while there IS a very sweet romantic story line, it's hardly the focus of the novel. The focus is the main character and his experience with coming out and his experiences on the football team.
A truly wonderful story. Three cheers for Bill Konigsberg. :)

A Sweet Boy's School Romance
Revisado: 03-26-12
This book made me smile. The reader is wonderful and the story had real depth to it. It wasn't just about sex.
I've noticed that a lot of the gay/lesbian genre available on audible presents stories more focused on sex or scandal. I was thrilled because this is a sweet story about the characters and about love.
Grey presents wholesome relatable characters that you will grow to love.
The story isn't perfect, but it's fun to listen to and closer to what I'd imagine a male/male relationship is really like. It feels real to me. I suggested the book to a dear friend of mine who is a gay male and he enjoyed the story as well and agreed it felt real unlike most in the genre.
Grey writes some of the best gay romance on audible. I highly recommend him.
