Historia
When Hannah learns that famed chef Daniel Costello is facing accusations of sexual assault, she's thrown back to the summer she spent waitressing at his high-end Dublin restaurant when she was a young college student—the plush splendor of the dining rooms, the wild parties after service, the sizzling tension of the kitchens. But Hannah also remembers how the attention from Daniel soon morphed from kindness into something darker. Now the restaurant is shuttered and Daniel tries to understand how his life is now completely out of his control

What a compelling, gripping novel. Alliterated with brilliance, and heart wrenching accuracy. Sarah is a masterful writer.

Historia
Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction." She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income. In I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette recounts all this in unflinching detail.

Tragic story of unwavering power and strength
Revisado: 09-30-22
How did our society fail to protect t Jeanette from mental, physical and financial abuse? Her church, the tv industry and family- all miserably failed to protect a child from a bipolar mother, who exploited her child for her own failed aspirations, Jeannette is a warrior and survivor, hoping she can continue on her healing journey. Shame on Nickelodeon for their blind eye to child abuse for financial gain.
