Not sure what to say but thank you to Geddy for this book full of so many great stories. Yes, some are sad, others tragic, but for the most part it is a beautiful, comedic, inspiring story and reminder to cherish the day, love your family & friends, and do your best. Having Geddy read this was like him sitting across from me. And the songs at the end… so potent and beautiful.

Thank you. 🙏

Discovered this on YT but wanted to own it and now do. Great production of a short but classic book. The narrator has a very pleasant voice and phrases well. Highly recommended book!

Absolutely loved this book. Bono is a poet, mystic, and a great storyteller. The production of this audiobook is top notch, the best I have ever listened to. I own the hardcover but this is like Bono sitting next to you while you’re driving or taking a walk. Highly recommended.

Very few books call me back like this one. A New Earth is a must read for anyone who does not feel they belong on this earth plane. There’s a reason… let Tolle explain.

ZAMM is a masterpiece, a book I have read or listened to every year for the last 15 years or so. A book that reveals a bit more with each passing and leaves the reader changed for the better.

The performance here is excellent. The readers pace, phrasing, and tone makes this a fun and riveting listen.

Highly recommended listen and book that everyone should own a hardcopy of.

There are two books I turn to now and then just to tweak my creative juices...

Natalies book "Writing Down the Bones" and Julia Camerons "The Artists Way".

These two resources have very useful tools and ideas to keep the creative muse flowing. As a songwriter and writer, I never get writers block since reading this book. Natalies personalized approach is so fresh and engaging that I often just listen to this book because I feel like I'm spending time with my dear friend.

Just purchase this book and listen. You'll not only resolve your writers block but you'll gain a new friend.

Not sure where to start with this one... the narrator is probably the most annoying aspect of this audible book because he sounds like the voice from one of the overnight TV commercials that sells sunglasses or some other overpriced piece of junk that you'll never use.

This book is pretty simple and could easily be slimmed down to 4 chapters but as is often the case with this age of self help gurus, they have a way of complicating the simple and expanding on nothing for hours just to make it seem like you're getting your moneys worth.

My advice is to skip this book and simply read Matthew Chapter 6 from the New Testament. The basic premise throughout the book is to ask and you shall be given. Thats pretty much it. I know that sounds awfully simple but thats exactly what this book talks about for endless hours.

Love Hall and Oates and this book gave me lots of insight into the partnership. Fun stories and nice background info on many of their songs.

Throughout the years, a handful of people have “channeled” Jesus or one of his fellow travelers. The problem is, none of these books agree on when he and Mary Magdaline actually met, got married, or moved to after the crucifixion. So… who is telling the truth?

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed this book and Youngs music definitely added to it for sure but I’m just not sold on the overall story.

There are two books here on Audible that are very similar and free, one is called “Jesus, My Autobiography” and the other is “Jesus and the Essenes”. Give them both a listen but you’ll be asking the same question I am, who is telling the truth?

I have to admit, I was a bit underwhelmed with the first listen because I was expecting more, especially having just listened to Stevens other book, The War of Art. Then I found myself listening to the book 2 more times in the first week of purchasing it and realized that the length is perfect. The chapters are short but meaningful. There is no excess here, just cut to the chase and make a potent point.

The author Steven Pressfield also does a great job of reading it. You can really feel his passion for the subject and some of the stories will stay with me for a long time... especially Roseann Cash`s dream... Yes, this is similar to the War of Art but I would encourage you to listen to both. I have both downloaded on my phone and will continue to listen to them now and then for encouragement.

If you a creative person or feel the urge to create something, whether its writing a book, making music, drawing, painting, dancing, whatever... listen to The War of Art and Turning Pro. These books are short and simple but powerful.
