3 hours in and I give up.....rambling nonsense.....not funny, not interesting, not entertaining. It’s like paying to listen to your friend who never stops talking, but never has anything to say.....

Rambling recapitulation of facts already known. Description leads you to believe this would be a new angle/view, which it wasn’t. I listened through it because it was relatively short, but definitely not something I would recommend.

Hey Ho - Let’s Go!!

As a long time Ramone’s fan I absolutely loved this. The peak of my Ramone’s fandom from 1982-1987 actually missed most of the Marky era, but I loved hearing the backstory from the beginning. Marky didn’t hold back, and though the book is obviously through his lens, I felt he maintained a good balance. It’s amazing that in the probably 50+ Ramones shows a saw, you never had an including of the dysfunction within the band and the chaos behind the scenes. A must read for a Ramones fan!

If you like Harry Bosch you’ll like this

A very good Bosch crime drama with plenty of the usual suspense, twists and turns. A new “partner” sets the stage for the next chapters in the HB series. Narration was good - like hearing different voices and really liked hearing Titus!

Liked it better than I thought

This was a good read (listen). Obviously probably a little biased through Christie’s lens, but he got deep and really gave is insight into both his journey and most inherently the Trump circus. Entertaining, intriguing and even disturbing at times. Christie goes up a few points n my book after this one - he doesn’t hold anything back.

Garbage - nothing at all new or even remotely insightful or interesting - just a recapitulation of things most already knew about with the constant reminder than Anthony was the innocent victim throughout. It’s Opie’s fault, it the girl’s fault, it’s social media’s fault.....ugh. Was hoping for a good behind the scenes account of the show including the dysfunction between the hosts and got none of that. Narration was awful - Anthony was dripping was smugness and arrogance, as if he is too brilliant to waste his time on such a menial task. Thanks for your $$ suckers, now move on......

Excellent work

Even though anyone who follows the business world knows the ending going in this is a fantastic read (I guess technically listen). Well done, well laid out and incredibly intriguing. A great reminder on the importance of transparency, the existence of greed and the power of a few principled people willing to stand up for the truth.

I don’t get it....

Clearly in the minority here but I don’t get all the rave reviews. Meandering and pointless at times. Some stories interesting/entertaining, but not enough. Narration a total miss - too many cameos and clearly not well thought out as most were mismatches for the stories they were reading. I am fan of the music, the time, etc., but I’m giving up at chapter 64 - I’ve hung in hoping it would make ale off, but it’s not happening. Can’t handle another “list” read out.....

Great band - terrible audiobook.
