Historia
A knight left for dead. A country on the verge of ruin. And an evil lord rising to conquer. Sir Rowan is the most decorated tournament knight in Cameria, but when he is attacked and left for dead, his world collapses. Betrayed and lingering at death’s door, only a bizarre vision of his Prince and the help of a woman dedicated to the King keeps him alive. As Rowan heals, he finds new purpose in life through service to his King. But his beloved land of Cameria has fallen victim to the tyranny of the Dark Knight.

Horrible dramatization !
Revisado: 07-08-11
I am a huge fan of this whole series and loved reading the books but the reader and dramatization are horrible!! I stopped listening after the first half-hour and have no intention of finishing this audio book. The sound affects or poor, almost cheesy, and while the narrator voice sounds ok in a British accent, he uses a very odd contorted American accent for the main knight (which, I think is safe to say, we all image with a romantic British accent, right?) This audio-book has almost ruined 'Sir Rowan and the Camerian Conquest' for me, i just can't get that horrible narrator voice out of my head.!
I'd recommend reading this book for yourself since there are no other audio-book options; the audio-book may be horrible, but the series is amazing.

Historia
Savor one of the most clever of Christie's suspenseful classics. An American businessman is stabbed to death aboard a luxury train, the Orient Express, snowbound in the middle of Europe. Nothing escapes the eagle eye and quick intelligence of the great Hercule Poirot, and clues abound. Sorting through a dozen perfectly respectable passengers, all suspects, Poirot is tenacious in his pursuit of the truth.

5 stars + for the reader!
Revisado: 02-08-11
This reader is AMAZING! He has mastered all the different voices, from British to American to French. You feel as if you're listening to a dramatized addition.
LOVE this reader!

Captivating reader
Revisado: 02-08-11
This reader (Prebble) is a master at dickens voices! He is wonderful to listen to.
The Pickwick Papers is a fun read, not a dark story-line such as Tale of Two Cities

Historia
Tom was "under strict orders not to play with him", so he played with him every time he got the chance. Mark Twain took his most outrageous and outcast character (and perhaps the one he loved the most), Huckleberry Finn, from the book and wrote his own Adventures. This giant work, in addition to entertaining boys and girls for generations, has defined the first-person novel in America, and continues to demand study, inspire reverence and stir controversy in our time.

Historia
In the rigid theocracy of Salem, Massachusetts, rumors that women are practicing witchcraft galvanize the town. In a searing portrait of a community engulfed by panic—with ruthless prosecutors, and neighbors eager to testify against neighbor—The Crucible famously mirrors the anti-Communist hysteria that held the United States in its grip in the 1950’s.

very fast!!!!
Revisado: 12-11-09
this is a very good dramatization! (you feel as though you are watching the play instead of listening to it) but it is very very fast and hard to follow along with the book at times because they skip portions.
also the story is very upseting to listen to, i felt on edge after i listened to this, but it's well written and gets the point accross.

Historia
Through Jim Burden's endearing, smitten voice, we revisit the remarkable vicissitudes of immigrant life in the Nebraska heartland, with all its insistent bonds. Guiding the way are some of literature's most beguiling characters: the Russian brothers plagued by memories of a fateful sleigh ride, Antonia's desperately homesick father and self-indulgent mother, and the coy Lena Lingard. Holding the pastoral society's heart, of course, is the bewitching, free-spirited Antonia.

I rate the story 3-4 stars but the reader was a 5 star reader.! Didn't like him at first when I heard the sample but when I bought it and listened to him on my ipod he sounded better.
