I don’t even know what to say, the book was intriguing, and so disturbing! It should really have a warning before you read it lol. They covered every emotion possible. I would highly recommend this book just be prepared. It is intense and explicit (gory) and so crazy but worth a ride if you can stomach it lol!

Shaky start but worth it
Revisado: 08-27-23
So I initially got really into the book but then a little bit in, I didn’t like where it started going, and I wasn’t even sure if I was going to continue. But I was curious enough about what happens and kept with it, and then the continuing twists and surprises were unexpected and intriguing and in the end, I really loved the book. I was pleasantly surprised at where it went. So I would recommend this book and just know to stay with it If at some point in the middle you get a little frustrated. I thought the ending was worth it!

Historia
One year ago, Isabelle Drake's life changed forever: her toddler son, Mason, was taken out of his crib in the middle of the night while she and her husband were asleep in the next room. With little evidence and few leads for the police to chase, the case quickly went cold. However, Isabelle cannot rest until Mason is returned to her—literally. Except for the occasional catnap or small blackout where she loses track of time, she hasn’t slept in a year. Isabelle's entire existence now revolves around finding him, but she knows she can’t go on this way forever.

Historia
There are two sides to every story: yours and mine, ours and theirs, his and hers. Which means someone is always lying. When a woman is murdered in Blackdown, a quintessentially British village, newsreader Anna Andrews is reluctant to cover the case. Detective Jack Harper is suspicious of her involvement, until he becomes a suspect in his own murder investigation. Someone isn’t telling the truth, and some secrets are worth killing to keep.

Intriguing, fun and full of surprises
Revisado: 10-12-22
I really enjoyed this book. I was worried about the time travel aspect and not being able to keep up since I was listening instead of reading a physical book, but it was not an issue at all. The format works very well and I was surprised by most (not all) of the twists! It's a great read!!!
